I finally got around to watching Gotham! I was very skeptical at first because I had heard a lot of mixed things & that Batman comic fans didn't like it. But as a comic fan, I gotta say that I found it incredibly entertaining. There's a few uneven storylines of course, but it makes up for it in sheer crazyness and over-the-top.... everything. I know a lot of people don't like that, but I find it super fun. I particularly love the portrayal of young Bruce's story. The actor they have playing our future B-man knocks it out of the park.
So enjoy this vid! I know this song is super overused but I just thought it fit so well.

I just binged the show and I totally agree! I guess he did probably inspire Bruce along with Alfred in how he would eventually act as Batman. Alfred showed him how to show compassion and let others make their own paths in life (that he can't tell or force people to change who they are/their ways) while Gordon showed him to take the law into his own hands, to believe in hope (There WILL be light) but to know when to use force and his own darkness and when to not, much like Alfred (but he SAW it much more in Gordon and the struggle).

+Ilovehertjes You should most definitely watch this show! And please don't be discouraged if the first season isn't A+, because it isn't. It's a bit disjointed, and suffers a tad from the "Villain of the week"-syndrome. BUT now that season 2 is underway, I can tell you it gets better. Oh dear lord, does it get better! We now have a more overarching story line unfolding, more of the best characters, and probably the next Emmy Award winner, Cameron Monaghan, absolutely stealing every scene he is in as a proto-Joker. He is seriously up there with Nicholson and Ledger, I'm not kidding. Watch it! :D

I personally don't mind the whole "Villaint of the week"-thing, as it usually give me a chance to get to know the main characters, so I'm sure I'll like the first season. This is fucking amazing! This just encapsulates everything awesome about Gotham, although I thought it kinda got boring at the start, Cameron Monaghan stole the fucking show in every scene he was in and now it's got a new life breathed into the show. I think you could make an awesome tribute of Season 2 of Gotham with the same song, especially when it talks about getting 'Fired Up' you could have clips of Bridgit Pike as Firefly burning shit.
