Guilt is why Lee kept pushing Jim away. She realized everything so she let her Guilt keep her from feeling for him again. But the moment she found out he was in trouble, those feelings snapped back. It was partially about revenge on Sophia, but not fully.

Well, that's the sad lot of villains in TV shows... even if they're good, plot armor works against them. I guess Zsasz was good enough not to get killed, and that's more that most mooks can say in *Gotham* ... He was also good at not angering his bosses, something Headhunter couldn't do, even if he only spent a couple episode working for Penguin. I'm still glad that the fans loving Zsasz in season 1 pushed the showrunners to give him a bigger role (in *The Flash* he was only in a couple episodes), Anthony Carrigan really deserved that push, and was fantastic is *Barry* ... Ha, I just checked his wiki page and saw that he played a character in a 2018 show ("Hard Sun") called Mr Weiss. Mr Weiss is another bald DC Comics hitman (well he wasn't bald in his first appearance where he fought Batman, but afterward when he faced Catwoman, Huntress, the Question and Midnighter he was always bald), Philo Weiss to be precise, who is a very interesting villain that I always wish will one day pop up on the small screen Back then, every new season of *Arrow*, I used to hope Mr Weiss 'll be in it **_waiwaiwaiwait waaait_** I'm an idiot, his name his Philo *Zeiss* , not Weiss! Oh well, not gonna waste that ink. Maybe my post will encourage someone to look him up, who knows? His first couple appearance in Batman were during very interesting storylines, too.

Looking back Sofia was better at obtaining power in Gotham Cities Underworld than she was at retaining it. She treated Gotham and all its players like pawns on a chessboard to be moved around and sacrificed at will. Even her own father. Jim Gordon understood his place on the board and got caught before he could escape it when reminded he to was partly to blame for the Pigs rampage by turning to the Falcones to usurp Penguin in the first place, backing him into a corner giving Sofia the final victory. Corrupting Gothams most honoured officer. In letting those she usurped and outmaneuvered live instead of laying waste to them, Sofia fucked up big time by underestimating her opponents who rose again stronger than ever. Gordon & Lee especially.
