Hi Gotham, I love your videos, you are an amazing youtuber, and probably a better tutor than actually meaning to tutor people. Because of your Caro Kann opening, I reached 1200, sadly I dropped to 1170, but im still winning a lot of games. Because of how much people you have gained, I decided to make my own youtube channel, your recaps and win at chess episodes switched my brain in an intermediate level, I cant thank you enough, chesstalk, agadmator, GM Hikaru dont match up to as great of a teacher you are. You are basically the KZbin Chess God!! I still cant believe after 2 months of watching you, I havent subscribed! Thanks for the memes, the lessons, the recaps, and everything you made. I love your clips channel also!! You are truely a legend, hopefull you get the GM title in those 2 tournaments.

Levy the counter play in the pirc against early king side expansion is c6, b5, and fighting for the c4 square(which you can often get your knight to) as well as getting your queen active over there if they castle as well as an a pawn attack. Loved the video, just thought this could be interesting to look into for you.

At 11:57, couldn’t the opponent have played f4? Unless I’m missing something, it wins the bishop because the e-pawn is pinned the Levy’s queen, and Bh4 would get met with g5 (taking either pawn with bishop is met with mate in 2). I think Levy would still technically be better, but William Hogbin probably could’ve won back the piece
@richardyannow650
@richardyannow650 2 жыл бұрын
If f4, then 2. Bh4 g5 3. Qf6+ Kg8 4. Qxd8+, and after the king moves white has Qxg5, or Qd1 to bring the queen back and trade out of danger.
@richardyannow650
@richardyannow650 2 жыл бұрын
The other move he mentioned at first, Rf1, would have actually been a blunder I believe, because black has Qxf1+ and Kxf1 leads to Rd1 mate. Black has to play Kh2, losing the rook.

First 3 games, if you ignore the mouseslip, Levy delayed castling in favour of attacking the opponent. In game 3 the main reason for castling was to bring the rook into the game as opposed to thinking about King safety. Something to think about for sure.

Can attest, that h3-g4 set-up versus the Pirc is awesome. Always feel comfortable, always get pleasant games. It’s so good that now when I play 1. d4, and they try to move-order trick me with 1…d6, I play 2. e4 and transpose it into this line of the Pirc.

Chiropractors are a bit iffy tbh, short term fixes that can make things worse over time. Much better off working with a physio therapist who will give exercises to improve issues over time imo

It's pure psuedoscience. If the chiropractor had anything meaningful to share it's knowledge that a real professional could have given with proper treatment

Good chiropractors understand that you need a longer term fix.. And should give you exercise suggestions. While also relieving pain that may hinder your ability to do said exercises. Also, Levi has a genetic problem with his spine so exercises aren't going to help, making chiro a very good choice. (I'm not saying you should see a chiropractor, they may not be for everyone, but maybe try it out one day to see if its as bad as you think)

Levy, in game 1, after Bg3, opponent had f4 attacking your bishop. If exf4, qxe6. If bh4, g5 deflecting ur bishop. U would have had to sac ur bishop to protect f2.

Apropos to something you discussed in the first game, I recently lost a game shortly after "trapping" my opponent's bishop because the bishop trap ruined my pawn structure and allowed infiltration. KID is no joke.

Oh great Levy of the chessboard I beseech thee. Please give us a king's gambit video, I always seem to end up with a connect 4 pawn chain when I play it.
