Dear Levy, I would like to thank you for being for us all through this year (cus im watching you from like spring this year) and just hecking smashing it throughout, with almost not a day missed i mean youre just an absolute beast and an inspiration. Obviously, like for most of us, this year wasnt so kind to me. I mean the covid pandemic, multiple quarantine caused by different family members getting sick, family members dying combined with an acceleration of my drug addiction and mental health issues.... I dont know i just dont think i would get through it all without You and my newfound passion for chess. Just wanted to say huge thank you and dont stop being awesome!!

This is a wonderful instruction. There were two caged bishops and the reminder to don't let them have paired bishops. I see from this lesson how my queen gets caged when I get too aggressive. Also, the end game pawn passer was a structure I haven't routinely recognized. I have a rating of about 825 but I was clawing my way up to 1000. Actually I broke 1000, then started drinking a beer while playing. It seems that the difference between 975 and 950 might be one 25 ounce beer. I never knew how much a little beer hurts your brain until recently.

so ... Knights value and bishops value are equal at 3 points. Levy always says not to sacrifice a bishop for a knight, because its easier to get round the board, but he also says not to sac a knight for a bishop, because it fights on all squares and not just one color. So which one is the better piece in general?

I decided to finally sit down and try and play after watching your videos for awhile. I got wrecked by a 600 chess bot for about 30 minutes before I started winning consistently.
