Levy has officially solidified himself in my top 3 favorite Internet-personalities/content creators. Genuinely funny, makes interesting content, good at explaining and just seems super real overall. And as if that wasn't enough, he is also super generous with sales for his awesome courses. What a good guy thing to do, thanks Levy!

i was playing chess today and levy was literally helping me. i mean he obviously wasn't there but i watched so many of his videos that he was "there". i was about to make a move and the levy in my mind said "look for something better" and indeed there was a combination of moves which won me a bishop. and after that he said "cleanup! just trade and simplify". it was like i was being coached. i beat a player fhat was 300 points higher than me. thanks levy, your videos really do make a difference in people's lives!

Honestly one of my favorite things so far getting more into chess videos is all the little things including sneezing in the middle of speaking, forgetting your train of thought and not cutting anything out, etc. It just feels like there's so much more normalcy and I notice they're mostly way more laid back as opposed to making a video as perfect as it can possibly be. There's just something about that which I really like.

I agree with your entire comment, Marko especially concerning the mention of keeping music out of this format. One of the big downsides of Hollywood movies to me is their obsession with the (mostly constant) musical score. It's yet another reason to like foreign films that forego all that background noise. A little bit goes a long way and if Levy included music, most likely it would be a constant thing. Chess players are not "top gun" fighter pilots. I have yet to see a "rockin' chess tournament".

Thank you for demonstrating the Trompowski. I immediately used it to beat the 1250 Rafaello bot and, in the review, I was rated 1650. I didn't play that accurately, but it was good enough.

This makes me understand so much, not just on the board but the psychology off it and also the outcomes, it really highlights how much A kings only draw is actually the perfect played chess game, every game hangs on one move and finding it first is the game, unless you just know the lines ofc 😂

The checklist. 1. Does my bishop live in a room without windows. 2. Have I got any lazer beams. 3. Ask yourself, what is worth more than queen or rook. 4. Is your opponent moving the knight just to show you how knights move or has he seen a fork. 5. Checks, captures and attacks.
