He would have gotten it now, but unfortunately FIDE tweaked it's Norm-Rules, so despite getting the required norms by the old rules, he now has to get another IM norm in a Swiss Tournament.

He's a FM. He should be close to IM but he needs to bring his elo up a few points (he's like 2390 and he needs 2400) also he needs one more IM norm. He won't make his goal as youngest Grandmaster of all time or even of America but maybe he can still make it before the age Bobby Fischer got it.

@@gregquinn7817 Yes, but young players gain elo alot faster. FIDE has an official and open difference in how much elo young players get. 10 elo points is way easier to get if you are classed as a young player.
