I am onto you! Either this mod or you added in extra SFX. I know the vanilla sound collage of the first two Gothics reliably. I occasionally recognize tweaks. Extra birds... Bell in the harbor... Added different sound of hammer on anvil. This is subtly even richer than the original. I love it.

A major change was the loss of rights to the Gothic franchise. Publisher JoWooD retained ownership of the Gothic name and intellectual property. F*** JoWooD.

@@paulpaul5032 Well this version is not available on steam. It is a mod, that you find online, I had installed some patches that fixed some ingame stuff then I installed this version, and yes it runs on dx11. Take care🙂

@@dopaminecloud Thanks for this comment. This game developer was serious about immersing the player into a dark mystical atmosphere. There is a reason why it's called gothic. It touches the melancholic and rough side but also the romatic and heroic things. The next game I would place on this kind of level is diablo 2
