Sorry this video was such a long wait! Having trouble with my Macbook and it made editing this video HELL. Basically my Macbook battery dies even when plugged into the charger so I was having to charge it to 100% while not using it and then race against the battery depleting to get as much editing done as possible before it dies and then repeat that over and over for about 10 hours of editing 😤 I literally got the battery completely replaced 6 months ago so wasn't expecting to run into this problem again so quick and buying a new Macbook isn't really an option for us right now. It seems to be randomly working again for now but if uploads take a little longer this is why! Bear with us please if the upload schedule is spotty (as usual 😂) Hope you enjoy the video regardless and as always thank you all 💀🦇

That reminds me of that typical experience every goth has passed through, one day i was walking at the shopping mall to meet with some friends, while i was walking, a little girl started following me and then she asked: "Dá licença, você é um vampiro? (Excuse me mister, are you a vampire?)" We laugh, then i told her about who i am, she said she would like to be like us (cuteness intensifies), a new goth is born 😄, Love the video guys! :D 🖤🖤🖤

It's sad some people can't understand others way of life when they aren't harming anyone in the process, including themselves, but it's worse when there's a lack of respect even going out of their way to insult them. Props to everybody who dares to live as they wish.

What's really crazy is that these people are causing ZERO harm to society as a whole and these people crying about it want to exhibit concern over this harmless genre or subculture when there's another predominant culture that glamorizes crime,murder,perverse sexual deviance,the objectifying of women etc and the proponents of this particular poisionous culture are responsible for the large majority of violence,crime,robbery,rape,home invasion,and murder in society today but nobody is ALLOWED to speak on it. If THAT doesn't speak volumes that there's some kind of manipulating of minds going on idk what does.

The job question always makes me groan. People are so obsessed with anyone that looks different actually having a job or not. I have been a goth since my late teens (now in my late 30s) and I've only ever had a workplace take issue with how I look once. Beyond that, no employer has said a word, some have stated they like it. I'm talking long term full time employment in a well paid job too.
@thornmallow1

From what I have lived through, the reason why people ask that, especially adults over the age of 55+, is because they want others to be productive members of society. They (people over fifty) grew up with the mindsets of You are born, you attend school, you graduate, get a job (man), housewife/librarian/school teacher/ nurse/ etcetera for women, get married, own your own home, produce heirs, raise them well, grow old, the kids take over and take care of you, then you die and the cycle continues. There wasn’t any room for deviations. If you looked like a bum, then you were treated very very poorly. If you had too many tattoos and your hair wasn’t clean and cut well, well then there must be something wrong with you. In the early 1900’s everything was based on appearances. There’s even a song that goes “The sign said “Long haired freaky people need not apply.” So to those who grew up with that early 1900’s idea of being a clean cut professional, productive person goes absolutely hand in hand with one’s appearance. I’m sorry if it seems like I am rambling, but this question comes up frequently in the Goth world.

My father calls me a vampire because after I wake up in the morning I like to have all the lights out, sit there, and meditate. I am a devout Catholic and it's pretty amusing to be called a vampire lol. He's just teasing haha. Despite my faith, I've always loved the dark and creepy side of life. It's a big reason why I fell in love with goth/metal music, and the subculture. Thanks for another video guys! Appreciate all you do! Take care of yourselves! =)

Regarding bullying, of course it's true that for some people it makes them stronger but that's not the case for everyone. For some people it just wrecks their self-esteem and damages them in ways which may require therapy in adulthood, in particularly bad cases it may even lead to trauma or in the very worst case it leads to children ending their own lives. That being said though, I don't think people should be forced to "fit the mold" to avoid bullying. Rather, bullies need to face consequences for their actions, and of course parents should try teaching their kids as much as possible not to take it to heart. But most of all both schools and parents need to get involved to stop bullies, in some cases possibly even law enforcement needs to get involved, especially if it gets to the point of physical violence.

little trivia about that show, everyone in the audience had to pretend that they hate their outfits and their life style. one goth (or vampire, in the show's case) mother, who was on that episode in the comments, who was yelling at the "audience" member and going back and forth. the audience member apologized after the show and explained that it was all faked for TV. I'm not going to deny that there are people from back then (from what I herd and seen in pre records. I wasn't born yet till 2000), too today's times, who don't accept people who likes too have fun

Much love from an Old Goth from across the pond. I was one of those 90's Goth/Vampire types. I still am. I have had numerous sets of acrylic fangs on dental bridges myself and have always enjoyed fashion, cosplay and club scenes. I am 46 now. I've been in the medical field for 25 years and have also worked with kids. You are right kids love it and never get freaked out about it. I have to tone things down for work as far as make-up and hair, also why I chose removable fangs. But it's really no big deal to me. It's kind of fun feeling like Clark Kent... the true SuperMan is disguised and lurking. I'm relieved you two are not judging us old Goths too harshly 💋

Haven’t bitten my tongue any more than usual. I do have a bit of a bump that’s developed (kinda like a callous) on the inside of my cheek where one rubs a bit but it’s not negative and doesn’t effect speech or appearance. You can fix them when they break. They have to be replaced completely since I have crowns and not veneers so I haven’t replaced the one that’s had the tip blunted yet. Teeth aren’t 100% perfect or symmetrical and it’s very minor so as long as the integrity of the crown isn’t compromised I’ll keep it as it is until the crowns themselves need replacing.

The point about football jerseys in comparison was spot on. I personally could never get into any sport if I wasn't actively playing. But yeah, when fans dress up and watch a game...really is no different than someone dressing up as a vampire to watch their favorite vampire media. Only if someone thinks they are trully a vampire would it be of any concern, firstly for their mental health, and second because the mythopoeia surrounding vampires usually involves violence against others. However, if they weren't violent and mentally sound, it might be interesting to know such a person.

Or you can get crowns but they are much more expensive and cause permanent damage to your teeth. Only get those if you need them. I have those they cost around $2,000 each and I have 4.

I appreciate your videos. And you look great with vampyre fangs! My friend Stephen from the Texas Vampyres has a friend who crafts solid fangs. But there are a lot of people who feel comfortable asking their dentists to sharpen their bicuspids (or whichever ones you like.) I swear to you, a friend and I were just talking about sharpening teeth and what not.There was a lady that walked by who had sharp teeth. Like almost all of them in the front, naturally. It made me wonder if genetics has a roll with how our teeth are and our diets. Whether they are intertwined or not. I always thought about that. Cool topic guys!

Lewis in L.A....You both look great! Conor, I am finally getting used to the hair cut. Lynn, the glasses at the end were perfect. I was thinking of you both the other day when I was visiting Breaded Lady in Burbank.

Very curious to know where these vampires are today and how their kids are. I enjoyed watching a vampire named Don Henrie in a reality show called Mad Mad House and getting interviewed on the Tyra Banks show and wish he did more shows. Its very interesting to think about how vampirism entered the goth subculture

Lynn is so adorable! She reminds me of myself, when I was a teenager. I have naturally pale skin & darkest brown hair with red undertones . People were rude, about my looks. I always wore black.i was goth, but didn't know it. I'm not a vampire though.

I always wondered how these gothic vampires do their makeup to such a competent degree. It must be a real challenge for them seeing as they don't have reflections in the mirror (allegedly) 🦇 🧛‍♂🧛‍♀
