I used some steel toes from my worn out work boots for scoops on the hood I made for my 41 Ford rat truck, I cut triangles the right size with the death wheel and welded them on the inside with the little flange at the bottom of the toe. Nice clean install

Great to see the rat finished and OTR, I wrote you around a year ago telling you about my dad's 36 Austin 10/4 sitting in our garage since 1988 partially dismantled, I've shown him the rat and he was pleasantly surprised with it and I've told him to get rid of his car as he's 80 now and not in brilliant condition health wise and I think that I'm getting through to him so hopefully I will be getting in touch with you in the future, have a great Christmas!.

@@oakswamp welding welding and more welding on the chassis. I had it blasted and dipped in red oxide. The bus body is very good frame-wise but I'm re-skinning it in ally to keep the weight down. Need to get the rolling chassis done first all plumbed and wired though. I'll update it on your group as and when, all the best.

For mateys big 7, I’d do a hydraulic clutch with a hand lever on the gear lever like a Victorian signal box since the footwells so tight 😅😎

That GN is awesome! I especially like the rods tying the front end together- fenders lights grill. The fenders not so much. The half-exposed petrol tank is very cool! I was hoping you would explain all the mechanisms on the dashboard. The Speedo drive gears on the right front wheel really draws your attention.

And searching on 'vintage' doesn't work well since the definition is misused too much. I am amazed at what you can get away with over there and get the cars road legal.
