I genuinely think that Travolta and Scorsese is the only team that could have made this into a decent film. John Gotti's story is complex as it is, yet this film actually complicates it even more and makes it harder to follow. Also modern Scorsese would get pitbull. He no longer chooses his own music, since the departed he's had a "music assistant" who chooses all the music (like Dropkick Murphys' Shipping out to Boston). If he had an assistant who liked pitbull then he 100% would have pitbull do the whole soundtrack.
@medes55974 жыл бұрын
@ThatOneAsianBroChick since the Departed onwards, Scorcese picks one or two songs that are important and then gives the rest to his music assistant. He didn't even hear the dropkick Murphys song all over the departed until the premiere by his own admission. That guy put pitbull on, they'd have god damn pitbull. Martin doesn't even listen. He even confirmed this in his vanity fair interview a few months ago.
