I used brahmi vati(tablet) when I had my midterms recently, in combination with Shankhpushpi syrup, I can attest that my concentration was like never before, and also once, I had a session of 12 hours studying with small breaks, without any mental exhaustion/tiredness. I am really impressed, because I have a very short attention span, and I can't concentrate more than 20 mins when I am studying

Can you please tell me which brand of shankhpushpi syrup you used ? ... I think it's possible it may be an ingredient in a product that I could get at my Indian Grocers . I live in the Dallas Texas area and regretfully all about 10 Indian Grocers stores within driving distance they are not legally allowed by this government to sell Shankhapushpi ... and I really need it and the other problem is I cannot seem to get good quality bacopa monnieri cheaply ... with the Indian Grocers are selling right now is tablets with a bunch of typical Western additives and I won't buy them . Last year right the before covid shutdown I had used the last of a small plastic bag of brahmi powder and then could get it nowhere all year .... they were all out and yet it was the best thing for my brain . I desperately need it because I have neurological problems and I used to have brain damage too .. and I've had memory problems off and on for the past 10 years now .

I live in Sri Lanka and I can get a huge bundle(even grow in the garden) of these leaves for about half a dollar or even less. We eat it raw with rice or drink it(not boiled but blended) as a juice. :D

I asked for a cup of it from a local Thai restaurant and now it wants to grow everywhere in my Northern Arizona garden.. Beautifully lustrous, bitter tasting. It's a pretty plant and soothing to look at.

Gotukola is the Sinhala name for this plant. We Sri Lankans eat it raw as a salad with our rice.

His brahmi looks extremely green and healthy - mine is not doing too well - tried sunlight, watering no result ...

it depends where you live, but i'm on the western border of tn and kentucky, had bought three live plants on ebay over the summer and initially tried growing them inside, they turned dry and mostly brown over a few days, so i planted them in my garden (an area that gets shade about half the day, full sunlight the other halfish) and they regenerated really well. now they're taking over! it's awesome. so if you live somewhere with decent humidity i recommend plating them outside if you haven't already done so, and make sure they get enough sun. we've also had a rainy summer so that may be helping (they like kind of marshy soil, not too much, but some). There are also three different kinds of gotu kola to my knowledge, and some prefer wetter soil, others do well in moderately watered soil, so you may want to check into which kind you have. i hope your plants are still growing. good health to you!
