Once Connector came out it was basically dust shoot and was compared to it quite often in early 2019. Literally Connector plus an extender could loop 6 cards and u-link. I miss those days.

That was an awesome Match! The Dimensional fissure against the Droll and Lock was such a good play and allowed Books to steal that one away. Not surprised at the result, but I'm glad it was as close as it was. Next match will be 3-1 for Dinos I think. MR5 and more power cards makes it an easy decision in my mind.

This match up essentially boiled down to who went first, and which deck drew their handtraps and counter cards. Still an entertaining match none the less, as seeing Spellbooks in action was just fascinating to me. You don't think they could put up the most impressive boards, then they end up summoning Jowgen and draw every card they need from their deck with Judgement, and suddenly you're staring down a Special Summon lock with protection, daring you to out it before they can pop off even further next turn. For the next match up, I say it'll be a 3-2 for Dinos, since they have more protection against disruption AND board breaking tools. If they go first and don't get too badly interrupted they can build whatever board they like that can easily beat Heroes, and going second they have Dark Ruler No More and Side Decked Lightning Storms / Evenly Matches to break any Hero board into pieces. If Heroes can establish their Plasma + Dark Law Lock without interruption or the Dino player doesn't draw their out cards, though......dem Dinos are going extinct.

That was a much closer match than I expected. Next time I'm pretty sure Dino easily crushes Hero. Dark Law will not be enough to carry Hero to a victory.

It was ver fun match up to watch take place, and I know those Fissures would cause some hassle, but Gouki's link spam was just too much for Spellbooks. Next match up, both decks are aggressives in going first or second against the other deck, the question is can Dinos get Calamity off first or Darklaw for Heroes? I should know how rough the match up is since I played a regional with Dinos vs Heroes in MR4 still and it came down to those side deck cards of Lanceas stopping dinos. However this is MR5 Dinos, they could care less about banishing cards since its Link Synchro Turbo.

Damn never thought the og engage would fail. Next match im having Dino 3-1. Heros dont end on negates so conductor can just stomp on them going second and as for going first well VFD just stops them from playing. The master rules also hurt heros quite a lot.

Pretty much exactly what we all expected. Gouki going first is an auto win, spellbooks simply don't have any board breakers. Spellbooks going second is the same, as Gouki will struggle to out Jowgen. Difference in the match was the one ash-fueled brick that Spellbooks had going first. Next matchup seems like Dino's all the way. Ultimate Conductor should be devastating going first or second, and with the new Jewel Beast they are better than ever. Heros have no answer to TK Calamities either

The Dino decklist has the advantage, hands down. MR4 Heroes were only rogue to begin with, while Dino has been in and out of the meta since its release, and has access to much stronger staples and combos and doesn't even have to worry about Plasma much if it opens Diagram or Litho and a baby. Hero is gonna be shafted 3-0, I'd say. Edit: Dino doesn't have Nibiru, which at least means Hero has a small chance.

Judgment to 1 will eventually upgrade the tier of Spellbook in 2020 metagame from rogue to... Rogue. Going first there are simply so much better options, and going second you can just concede

Dinos have the advantage for sure. Heros are not weak but dinos are on a completely different level from heros. Calamity alone will win the duel for dinos and thats not even including super conductor, dark ruler and needle fiber shenanigans. The only chance heros have is if they go first set up dark law and hope dinos dont open with dark ruler.

Dark law doesn't even stop normal dino play. They can just use oviraptor to send giant rex and overlay into a rank 4 to beat over or crash with darklaw.

DInosaur has a lot of option to litterally stop hero from playing (calamities), while on the other hand 1 dark law could ruin the whole dino day. But calamities is slightly better than dark law because it's a lingering effect, can't be dark ruler no more, kaiju or etc. So 3-2 dino it is
