I've never in my life heard the word "overneath" I love it.
@TrojanHorse19593 жыл бұрын
Me neither, but I found a definition of it. Overneath Definition : Something that is above something else in which one is not able to see it due to the fact that it is covered by the object that is underneath it but it is above our sight. Example: I can't see the cirrus cloud because it's now overneath The cumulous cloud. Here's another one for you. I had a buddy in high school who's last name is "Overstreet", so of course we called him "Underroad."

Friend of mine grows mushrooms as well and gives his left over substrate to me my garden has never produced much as our soil is chalky. I grew about 15 times more crops than I've ever grown, this stuff is amazing fertilizer for basically any soil.
@MetaJamm3 жыл бұрын
Actually it's a depleated substrate. Its pretty obivious that mushrooms do not eat just air to grow.
@lllllllllllllllllllll1lll13 жыл бұрын
@@MetaJamm the mycelium is still left within the substrate, which then composts down into bioavailable nutrients for plants.
@MetaJamm3 жыл бұрын
@@lllllllllllllllllllll1lll1 Yes of corse, so where i been wrong? Mycelium is there but mushrooms are not. Or you compost mushrooms and add back to substrate?

Psilocybin containing mushroom saved my life. They drastically reduced my benzodiazepine withdrawal allowing me to quite illicit pill addiction after three years of heavy daily use before it would had become medically dangerous to quit. It has also helped me survive depression.

Do you have a Mexican neighborhood nearby? If possible ask for an herb called epazote, write it as is on a sheet if you cannot pronounce it, for quesadillas in Mexico it is added to the mushrooms as well as Oaxaca cheese, which is a cheese that melts, all within a folded tortilla you will have a delicious quesadilla as it is made in Mexico
@riciaswebb4064 жыл бұрын
@@KaibaBlanco Thanks, there is a tienda nearby, I'll check there.
@KaibaBlanco4 жыл бұрын
@@riciaswebb406 You only need a few leaves to cut and mix with the mushrooms, epazote is an aromatic herb that helps digestion. the tortillas should be fresh and just warm them a little to be able to fold them and put the stewed mushrooms next to the cheese inside and heat again to melt the cheese and eat them

I know you've said you keep your facility at low 70s for temperature. But what temperature are you fruiting inside the tents? Do the tents allow for enough insulation to allow lower temps? We tried to grow some pholiota nameko on our farm a year or two ago and we had such a hard time getting them to set their pins. It seemed like when I wanted to give up on them completely they finally fruited. We were leaving the plenum space available in the bag hoping they would top fruit (kind of like the king oyster) but they seemed to do so when they wanted to. I see you take an approach more like I do with the pholiota adiposa and wrap the block and just cut some slits. Any tips you'd mind offering me on the nameko would be greatly appreciated! Love what you guys are doing. not many folks are willing to share their grow op. It's funny how guarded the mushroom industry can be compared to say the cannabis industry where everyone disseminates information willingly! Keep up the good work!
