Then I started a very ambitious art project, one that I've wanted to do for a long time. But it became clear that I wasn't going to get it done for a very long time. The only paper mache I ever have done was in 1st or 2nd grade and we made maracas with a light bulb core after the paper dried ( water & flour ) we smacked them on the table till the glass broke inside, so they made noise, then painted them. Funny that I still remember that. That was eons ago. I may try something a little more challenging...lol

Thank you! For these I used a pre-mixed air dry clay. I can't remember the brand but you can get it at any craft store.

Thank you for the kind words. I'm happy that you like the work! Every piece takes a different amount of time depending upon the detail etc.. It can takes weeks or even months. I use flour and water paste for the newspaper. I've been doing this work since 1972. I make lots of different things but I always come back to dragons. I do sell some on commission and on my website (you can see the ones I have for sale under the "art for sale" tab). My favorite project is always the one I finished last!
