I love this sew along will be using blue, green, cream and oranges to make it up for my mom in the nursing home. Have to finish an ocean themed quilt for a grandson first.

♥,I just checked my emails and saw you have blocks 2 +3 done. I guess its time for me to decide what colour wave I plan on using. I think it may be fall. Tomorrow will be decision time. Hope to post some blocks soon. Love the overall quilt pattern, in all the colour waves you have sewn.

Thank you so much for this page. I keep it as my home page, dreaming of when I can get to one of your quilts. Health issues have throttled me but I am working hard to overcome and will be doing some quilting. I am a newbie for most of this but getting pretty good with the patchwork squares. .

Block 2 made and now after seeing I need to do 13 blocks- I’m wondering if I have enough scraps in the same colors. I assume, the background color is most important for a cohesive look?

Hi, yes, i would think that your background will set off the colours, you don't need exactly the same fabrics throughout, similar colours will work well.
