one of my favorite all time moments with the govt mule.
warren and i were walking onstage and warren just said
'got anything for Bminor ?', i thought about it for a second
and said, 'yea, probably'. that was it. no song called no plan
no nothing. i knew this song mostly from the little jimmy scott
version of it but never really owned it or listened to it. we
started off and i found the spaces to answer warren's vocals
and we were off. i love this video. unfortunately, the sound
guy had my acoustic mic off for the first minute and a half
or two minutes. still, it's one of my alltime favorites we ever
got into. pure feel. pure history. this is what i live for in music.
i thank warren and matt and the mule for decades of friendship
and brotherhood.
