That was a great video!! Just happened across it and I’m glad I did. I’m going to watch all of your videos now. 👍👍👍

Thunder sounds awesome in a place like that, echoing off of all the hills and such. You're an avid fisherman though, so probably don't get a big a kick out of it as I do. Heading to Govan for my first time at the end of Sept this year, thanks for sharing your trip!

Thanks Eric, really enjoyed this video!. The right place, at the right time, with the right presentation is pretty cool when it all comes together. Always nice to put a few hawgs into the boat. Re. the thunderstorms ... hope you had a good book with you lol. You also made a comment about not having to bring milk ... I take powdered milk with me on most of my back country trips ... as long as you're not drinking it straight-up, but just using it as a coffee whitener, or for cooking, it's a great substitute. And you can use as much as you want to get a creamier texture to any of your cooking. Cheers.

Wow quite the storms. Nice work with the fishing. I was at Crotch Lake last week and I didn't catch a thing. Video looked great.

How can you get skunked at the Crotch, Dave? I catch 6+ fish right off the campsite each time and I have 3-4 sites I alternate lol. Before your next trip head over to CT, grab a Rapala Tail Dancer, white big-o and a pop-r. Guaranteed you won’t get skunked with this combo on any bass/pike lake in Eastern Ontario.

@@ericsoutdooradventures4869 Thanks Eric. I do have some of those lures. I think my main problem is my patiences. In my next video which I shot last week, I spenprobably 90 minutes fishing, but I had no luck so I packed it in. Anyways I will get better. Your fishing stats are very impressive, well done!

Great Dave. I enjoy your videos as well. Production is incredible. I have the patience for fishing and you have the patience to set up the right shot. I’ll be heading to Long Schooner Lake in late September so hopefully I can put up one more vid before winter.

I’m heading to Govan Lake in August 2023 and going from the Ottawa area. Is it better to go in from Ompha or from Calabogie?
