Do the lights turn off when you turn off the tv?

The camera on top of the TV looks super weird, and the angles not having lighting is a bit distracting. The end-result is amazing though. I wonder if Philips would ever make their Ambilight into a separate box that you could connect to any TV in some way? Probably notbut until then I think this is the highest quality ambient lighting system we can have. Definitely gonna be looking into this early next year!

Phillips has a box but a total kit is almost as expensive as an new 55 tv with ambilight.

​@@franshagen7540you can do it with pi0 board and hyperion or hyperHDR... you just buy a Orei or ezco hdmi splitter.. however you still cant get phillips or pi0 to work when you watch stuff from the TV... even with phlips ambilight tvs due to piracy hdcp standards etc. The camera is the most broad solutions works woth every content

How much clearance between the wall and TV is needed to mount the camera. I only have 7cm of space.

That should be just enough. The power cord sticks out the back of the camera. But you can bend it to an extent. I just set mine up today

Brilliant product.All Govee products are excellent imo and I have bought and tested many.Cheers,I`m putting my Govee backlights on both Tvs in the morning.The eagle has landed.He he ;-) ♥♥

Great review! I have the T1 and just got the T2 is the LED strip any different on this one? I’m curious if I could keep the T1 strip on and save the new for back up :).

T2 has more leds than the T1

im haveing load of issres with mine. seems to put to much reds in left corner even when no red on screen add that too cant seem to make orange, im actually a little disapounted in t2

Is the T2 camera and led strip much better than the ones from G1 pro? I mean is it worth it to buy the T2 then buy separate light bars ? T2 + separate light bars will be around 210$ and the G1 pro is now 99.

If I buy an extra pair of Govee RGBIC Light Bars, can I sync them in tandem with the T2 light strip (like a seamless visual render based on the one camera source from the strips)? Thank you!

Yes. You can sync up to 5 compatible devices.

@Linus, KZbin does not give me noticäfications of your videos. I wonder why! Moving to the video, the name reminds me of phone maker Gionee. Solid product..
