Buffalo scores the charter of a lifetime when they’re asked to transport the Stanley Cup on a tour of the North. Cup fever spreads quickly around Buffalo, and for Mikey, what begins as an innocent love for this hockey icon soon becomes an obsession. Meanwhile, a Transport Canada violation forces Joe to give up his licence for 10 days. He reluctantly looks for a captain to replace him on the passenger run he’s flown for almost 30 years.

Really sounds like someone or even a few people within the Canadian version of the FAA has it out big time for Joe… Was is some disgruntled former employee looking at getting back at him? I understand they get frustrated that he does stuff the old way but that’s what he knows and has obviously done really good at it as well as having done it for a lot of years. He most likely has more aviation experience than anyone working for the Canadian Authorities. Either way it’s definitely a revenge/attack on Joe if they are getting him for something 2 years ago. They were obviously looking for anything and everything they could nail him for. First and foremost I guarantee they weren’t there on the lake the day he took off. They are making guesses from old weather data that can’t prove what the exact conditions were like when he took off from the specific position he was in with any certainty. They are trying to take his DC3 passengers they say. They probably want the passengers for one of their buddies airline/charter services. They can do that by making a new rule stating paying passengers can longer be flown on anything but currently authorized passenger aircraft and not renew the DC3 a as commercial passenger aircraft. There’s more to it their attacks on him than just passengers.

I can tolerate most episodes but this one was nauseating.
