Tu's blade handling is so insanely on point and natural. You can really tell the dude has put in the time.

Tu is like Jason Bourne, Bolo from Bloodsport with a sprinkle of Bruce Lee and Chuck Norris all packaged nicely into a spec ops monster!!

He is a really nice guy in person but he sure knows his way around a blade.

I am a spartan customer for life. I own two of their knives and love them soooo much. They will be passed down to mt son as well so not only is this art it be something you pass down to family over generations since the steel is at s35 and they have cheaper ones but nothing better then theses steels. I got this knife for mt b day so now I have 3.

Glad you like them. Great guys making great knives. Thanks for watching.

I'll buy 1, if a mini version is available, about 7" oa, 3/16" s35vn

I think that might defeat the purpose of it being a dual purpose survival/CQB tool. Nothing is impossible though.

He seems to prefer this over the sakura blade.

It sucks that it’s powered steel. Powder steel will break like a piece of cement when the blade is used in a way that makes it flex. That’s why you want to use a high carbon steel like 1095 or more premium would be something like 3V so that it can pry & flex without breaking.
@CyrusVyrus2 ай бұрын
3v is powder metal. A little confused are you?

Kabar vs spartan blade ?

Depends on what you are looking for. Premium materials and design: Spartan. Most budget friendly: Kabar.

Sooo, it's a Spartan ZT 0100.

Nope. Totally different knife. Only real similarity is the recurved blade grind.

@Gpknives5 жыл бұрын
As long as you are laughing with him and not at him you're probably ok. Curtis and Tu were both really nice guys, knowledgeable and well spoken. I would not like to be on the wrong end of the Ronin Shinto in Tu's hands though. =)
