The thing that disgusted me the most about Brendan's behavior wasn't even his half-a$$ed attempt of pretending he wasn't just playing a game to be around for Pieper - It was the way he spoke about Natasha after. Saying she had no prospects, she was annoying, like she should be grateful to HIM for keeping her around. The irony of the situation is that both of them would have done better influencer wise if they just stayed back home and didn't display their nasty true colors, since their followers plummeted. I have a theory that Natasha was in on the whole time as she was friends with Pieper and hung out with her after the photos of Brendan and Pieper came out, but Natasha literally works for Bachelor Nation.. so I think they convinced her to go against Pieper and Brendan so she can get sympathy and raise her profile and increase their lame ahh bachelor podcast. i honestly never liked Brendan even when he was on Tayshia’s season. something was off about him, but i couldn’t really put my finger on it. i started to realize why i didn’t like him the moment he told Tayshia he wasn’t ready for marriage, then he came on the very next season of BIP anyway. to the people saying “you either die a hero or live long enough to become the villain” i don’t think he was ever a hero, i think he’s been a villain from the start. he basically played Tayshia just for followers, and now he’s doing it again to Natasha. the only difference is that he used to be way better at hiding it. i’m just glad everyone else is finally starting to see what i’ve seen in him all along.

Not just Serena but I think that Ivan, Tammy and a lot of the other people that are friends with Pieper and Brendan knew what was up. Blake said in Us Weekly that he thinks that producers put the the mic footage in the show after they found out that Pieper and Brendan played them to get on the show (probably when they were editing). If that's to be believe, then Serena is more than likely the person who Brendan was talking to. All this blind loyalty is going to comeback and bit them in the butt.

Not new, but I fell out of like with both Pieper and Brendan before both of their seasons ended… basically for the same reason: they don’t take accountability. Pieper went on Bach Happy Hour after all the “faux blame Katie drama” had aired and was still blaming her rather than saying, “We effed up”. Rachel Lindsay literally had to say, “Pieper, Katie didn’t do anything. She called it out.” It was really weird that she hadn’t come to that conclusion after watching everything, got told off, but couldn’t explain why she thought she was right. Brendan literally just played Tayshia, and dipped before the end. Their drama is so lame, they can leave now. Also disappointed in a lot of people of the beach, who probably felt the weight of themselves not speaking up on the Brendan and Pieper situation, so they piled on Chris. Chris didn’t handle the situation well and maybe said some stupid things, but I don’t think it’s at all like Pieper and Brendan. I think both Jessenia and Alana had a crush on Chris, Chris picked Alana, and Jessenia got hurt and fueled the feeling of betrayal that everyone was already feeling with Pieper and Brendan. I was liking Jessenia too, but now I’m kinda back to thinking she’s a “mean girl”. Alana was just interviewed on Bach Happy hour about her experience. Also, why was Serena telling Brendan, “I think it’s gonna be okay?” Did she know that he was playing Natasha all along? Joe didn’t defend Natasha either (until now on social media). Gah! I think this week really showed something: cast members need to stop hooking up before paradise and STOP coming to paradise with pre-established relationships. I am sick of having to learn about pre-show drama when the drama should be started at paradise. The producers need to start being more strict with who they cast because from my perspective, the bachelor franchise has completely lost touch with its roots. These shows are supposed to be about people genuinely finding romance but it’s just turned into a bunch of clout chasers who hook up with eachother at any chance they get :/ They gotta look more close into these people and be strict about hooking up pre-show. But based on what I’ve heard about who the next bachelor is, I don’t think they care. I think they just want drama and headlines. I wouldn’t be surprised if there’s only a few seasons left of bachelor. Ratings are down, they don’t cast genuine people, and they continuously choose trash leads for the bachelor (they pick good bachelorette’s I will say that). Also why did the second episode center around two D-List cast members? No one cares about Chris Conrad or Alana.

I said this in another post but it was always obvious to everyone that Brendan wasn't into her. Even if Pieper never showed up, he was never affectionate towards her and she had to make the first move. Plus they tried to warn her but she chose to take the risk anyway. Brendan has like 4 dudes that were on the same season as him and Pieper has about the same amount of girls that were on her season. It's really not hard to figure out why they aren't getting the same heat as Chris and Alana. They're all friends and hang out outside of the show.

I would highly recommend people watch nick viall’s recap of this episode. He had a great guest Ali barthwell and Ali brought up the point of brendan’s true nature with how he was talking about Natasha, a beautiful successful dark skinned woman who is closer to his age and how belittling he was towards her while praising his 23 yr old light skinned girlfriend. He’s a f boy. And nick brought up the point that since Chris was never on good terms with the group it was easier to gang up on him because everyone likes Brendan. I’m excited to see Brendan and pieper’s comeuppance (aside from the loss in followers)
