Some important changes to remember about this randomizer, in case you're super stuck (these are straight from their website): -- The Death Mountain cave system has changed considerably. It is now possible to access Dark World Death Mountain from the Dark World mainland. -- Dark World Death Mountain now has some stairs allowing access to Ganon’s Tower and East Dark World Death Mountain. -- Ice Palace is now accessible directly from the Dark World. -- Turtle Rock is now accessible by jumping from its tail!

They changed the map in this mode so "bumper cave" leads to old man cave that leads to death mountain.

Jared, the lamp was your logical progression so you can get to dark death mountain. You get there using the cave at the base of dark death mountain with the large rock blocking it. This will lead you to the cave where you get the old man, you then use the warp at the top of dark death mountain to switch to death mountain and bring the old guy home. You can then explore at least that side of death mountain, which is most likely where more progression is.

More little tips. The remainder of the chests in Skull woods are locked behind the fire rod. Also, the randomizer will always assume you will waste as many keys as you can each dungeon, so using a key to get a key is fairly common. Also as others have pointed out, they had to change a lot to get inverted to work. You should read up on those because it will bite you on inverted. Most pertinent to you right now is the dark cave that takes you up the mountain in the light world is now in the dark world, so with the lamp and gloves you can have access to the mountain.

Dark death mountain doesn't have an exit back to Hyrule main, so does taking the cave lead to the light world, then?

Yeah this randomizer is definitely a lot trickier as I'm sure to make sure the game to progress there would be ways to move forward. What has changed so you can do it without issue. @@Cookie_85 No you cannot. It is specifically opened by the fire rod, the lamp does no damage (which is what I think triggers the back of Skull Woods opening.) Jared also missed a chest to the left of the main entrance of the dungeon which likely either has progression (an item that he can use to go elsewhere like the hammer, fire rod, hook shot or flippers.) The fire rod by logic cannot be in the back of Skull Woods. His ONLY options are Skull Woods and Thieves Town at the moment.

I've been following this series for three episodes now and I'll agree that this run looks hard without a sword.
