KNAL'S house starts out in the Dark World, the mirror now warps out of the Light World and back to the Dark, and the flute only works in the Dark World. The Dark World offers significantly less treasure spots and has much stronger enemies making it MUCH harder to start out!

From the update notes themselves from the ALTTP Randomizer news board: "The warp tiles that you would originally find in the vanilla locations have been moved to their dark world counter spots. There is two notable exceptions to this however. Agahnim has now taken up residence on Death Mountain in Ganon's Tower which is permanently open in Inverted. Once you have defeated Agahnim a warp tile will spawn in the dark world above Link's house. The warp tile on Turtle Rock is now in the Dark World and requires you to climb on his tail to reach it"

@@squirrelguy2195 to be fair, those aren't exactly the most intuitive places to put these warps. In the original lttp you could enter the dark world by crossing Hyrule castle's gate. They should have placed the warp either in front of the tower, where it normally is in the light world, or in the first tower room. For the one near Link's house, why not put it inside or right outside of it? I think an issue with these randomizers is that they're played by people who've likely memorized these games for the most part. That makes it easier to miss little changes simply because you're not used to them being there.

@@Zeithri I'm sure his memory isn't that bad (it only seems bad because he doesn't play randomizers that often and he is going by prior knowledge of ALTTP). I also don't think playing like an idiot helps the algorithm, it's more how many views and likes he generates as he can play totally fine as long as people watch and like his content. Most of the panic will go away though once he is in light world as that is when the game significantly decreases in difficulty. Now if he really wanted to panic he should do enemizer runs with enemy shuffle and boss shuffle on with damage and health shuffle >:D.

@@Jedda678 You forget that he ran all over Death Mountain in Adventure of Link and in the original LoZ looking for something. He found dungeon 5 or 7 early in LoZ but he forgot he did and he checked every single secret hole looking for it and always forgot to check the hole that led to the dungeon he wanted. Not to mention in LoZ he forgot that he was playing the randomizer and was surprised when dungeon 1 was a moblin house and dungeon 3 had the hydra boss.

@@Jedda678 I would argue that "playing like an idiot" does help with the algorithm in that it leads to way more comments not only talking about how he's missing things, but also just people giving tips and whatnot. As they say, "Comments are good for the KZbin Algorithm". Plus, watching him struggle and lose his mind is part of why a lot of Jared's fans watch his lets plays, even if they're yelling and screaming and getting frustrated at all the mistakes he makes or things he misses.

This does NOT show up in the Inverted notes. Maybe in some Google Doc somewhere, but not on the changes listed on the website. I made a suggestion on the Discord to add it on the Website.

Seems counter-intuitive to require the same information that is readily updated on the site that only updates when they update the randomizer. Discord/google docs are living documents and update with more information as they are found rather than putting in on the randomizer creators' to update a website, which depending on how its hosted can take more effort/money to do so. It literally has three separate times during the instructions with various resources to help him. Also whenever you make a randomizer seed(if you haven't done so yourself I would highly advice to do so as its fun/unique experience), it gives you the option of downloading the key of where all the items are specifically if you get stuck. Lastly, AFAIK the randomizer is designed in a way you cannot get yourself softlocked at any point. I haven't seen any posts stating such since it was first introduced, though there are thousands of seeds it can generate, but it is more likely not to lock the person. Its also Jared locks himself by not hitting select at all which was a vanilla option to literally leave the game.

I disagree. Hiding away stuff inside Discord or Google Docs is a worrying trend. Websites are more open, easier to access and how most sites I know operate is that everything you NEED to know is on the homepage, but USEFUL information might be hidden away in some Doc or Discord. Also, adding two or three more bullet points on a list does not cost any more money. A tad more effort, sure. Though I think that would've led to "Well, spoiler log says I need to go to light world, I can't, so I have to reset". So if this Randomizer is reversed then does that mean Knal is the Villain? Agahnim is trying to protect the Princess from Knal who wants to kidnap her, and ends up teleporting her away to safety. Knal travels around the Dark World stealing things trying to find a way to the light world to steal the pendants and 7 crystals in an attempt to attain ultimate power from the Tri Force. Ganon is trying to stop him and along with the guardians of light protect the light world from this Villain of Dark.

Jared, other people are saying this but maybe if everyone says it you might get it....After you beat Agahnim, the dark world warp appears above your house! If you try to repeat the same stuff with the new save file and you die in the light world, you will think you have to reset again. Listen to your fans. Also, read any notes the creators make just in case things are different in the games they make. You create for yourself alot of stress.

So after looking up Link to the past inverted randomizer on google the first result on the what changed points gives "Once you have defeated Agahnim a warp tile will spawn in the dark world above Link's house.". Like I get it, reading Readme or instruction manuals is not for everyone but oof... Took like 30 sec to find out. The reset? Quite a bit more time "lost". Sure I dont care if you want to go for another seed but the approach is just weird and just doesnt feel good.
