The memory of father is only the man cooking lunch. The role of father is neglected from her and her family. Her mother's control shape her deeply. She is struggling on following mother's way and her inner feeling to partner.

So when's the "Elizabeth returns to her European roots after a break up" episode coming out? Or are those peope excluded....again?

Dominant culture within NZ is rooted in western colonial views already. “Elizabeth”culturally wouldn’t feel like a minority because I’m assuming your talking about a white person. By white person I mean from English heritage. Other parts of Europe may be slightly different. Due to language and cultural practices. NZ is still proficiently culturally English in nature. So no Elizabeth wouldn’t feel like a minority or have issues with culture here in NZ. What she will likely find hard like you as I am assuming you are like Elizabeth, is being challenged by the fact that you aren’t always the centre of everything once. You and Elizabeth are unaware of the fact that you don’t have to worry about feeling like a racial or cultural minority because NZ society is still predominantly rooted in White NZ (little England) culture. 😊
