The costuming was interesting. When she dressed like Grace, her clothes looked expensive and fit her well, but dressed as Karen, her "luxury" clothes looked cheap and unflattering.

That is really interesting, and it really speaks to the moral of the episode. When she tried to "copy" Grace, she came off as a better version of herself. When she tried to "copy" Karen, it was as if the wardrobe was saying she threw away a better version of herself to be a cheaper version of someone she cannot imitate.

But a “Karen” right now is a very popular term to describe a particular type of white woman who imposes herself (and her white privilege) upon others with her very minuscule problems in a way that is menacing or even life-threatening to others. Especially to those who are black or of immigrant status. Example: Just last week, a woman in Central Park had her dog in a bird-watching section of the park without a leash (which is against the policy because dogs have been known to attack/eat birds) a black man kindly asked her to put a leash on her dog, she responded by saying she’s going to call the cops and say “an African american man is threatening my life” That my friend, especially in times of racial injustices happening all right now, is an example of “a Karen”
