I have been on creon for 1 year for epi and have severe deficiency. I can take 10 25k per meal and stool is formed but stool is still so sticky and greasy. Taking ppis don't help and taking slow release bicarbonate isn't making a difference either. Even my Gasto can't offer a suggestion to improve the results. No matter what I eat either a chicken salad or a chicken curry the end product is always the same. Any advice or something I can try? No other brands available in Ireland.

Hi dontneednoman..., Usually yes, this is an ongoing therapy. Exocrine pancreatic insufficiency (EPI) is usually chronic. EPI caused by inflammation from cancer usually has damaged the pancreas enough to become a chronic disorder.
