Great job Ashley, I toured Graceland for the first time in 2018 when my youngest son was playing in Memphis on Beale Street with his band (Jordan James and Serious Trouble). It was a cold January day and no one was out due to a very tiny amount of snow, we are from Buffalo New York so the weather was perfect for us, we were a party of 7 with only 2 other folks that got to tour Elvis's home, we took it slow and easy, the entire time I was there I literally could feel Elvis's spirit in the house along with other spirits that may have lived in the house. It was Amazing!!! Keep the history coming!!!

Ashley what a truly amazing video so well explained as this is such a complicated area that went through many changes over the years. I presume then that the curtain in the hallway covering the door into Deltas room was added for the tours possibly. Well, this video puts everything in perspective now! I often wondered how much the kitchen changed once the Jungle room den was added on. As nice as it is to have the den, Jungle room, I loved the kitchen before it was added on. Although I do remember a lot home doing this exact same thing and the kitchen window was then left open as a pass through. Even though Elvis was wealthy, he pretty much kept up on the styles that everyone else was doing. My favorite room is the kitchen, but I love all the rooms we got to go in! Thanks Ashley, as always you didn't disappoint! Now I wish we had a piece of that flooring. lol

Love these very informative videos - the kitchen wasn't on the tour when I went in 1983 so it's great to hear of all these things. Great pics of Dee, Priscilla and Vernon also. Been trying to find the quiz from last night as I love watching but as I am in England it doesn't finish until 3 am so It's a bit late to always take part so I always watch later but haven't been able to find it?

Great job as us usual Ashley! Some pics of Elvis and family that I have never seen before. I was there in 1982 for the 1st year of the house tour and can still remember seeing Aunt Delta scurrying from kitchen to her room with curlers in her hair. She looked annoyed at us being there but you can’t blame her, having the house she had been granted occupancy at turned into a museum!. Loving Elvis Forever from Canada 🇨🇦

@@ashleysadventures No, but I've met Elvis! I actually was introduced to him in Buffalo by Dick Grob. I went on tour with them the next year for a couple of days and I remained good friends with Dick all 48 years until his passing in 2020. I miss him very much.

This has always been my favorite video not sure why I’m obsessed with how the kitchen use to look but I am ……I also just caught your mentioning the stairs from the basement were outside under the window ….very cool and the green tile from Gary Pepper was a real score …. I’m still at bit uncertain the swinging door in the kitchen behind Vernon where did that lead to??

If you're standing at Gladys' bedroom, the hall directly behind you. In Elvis's time there was always a swinging door here - you can see it in This Is Elvis. Thank you Julie!
