Never ever thought of how Elvis’s hair was done. It just looked perfect all the time no matter where he was or what he was doing! He treated his barber as a very special person buying jewelry, a car, a home, and plane ticket for him. Instead of paying a salary, Elvis took care of his needs in life. Elvis was one of a kind! We never hear of anyone ever doing anything like this for someone these days!😊❤

great video ! , the add on rooms and areas make the house odd but show the history with cool windows hidden and little halls , my old hold house them as my grandfather had built on to the back a large kitchen with back side door so my great grandmother could bake and cook stuff for are restaurant and we had chickens and fresh eggs out back close for her , so the old house had 4 kitchens when i grew up there one small kitchen was just for the dance hall area upstairs , and these strange out of place windows and doors throughout the house , the close up photos are so cool of the old paint color and the old traces of the past !

I'm late to the party once again Ashley, but better late than never. Holy cow, this was one jam packed video Ashley! So many interesting things, all your video's are interesting to say the least, but this one was really cool and interesting. Just when you think you know everything there is to know about Graceland and it's owners, boom....there is always more! Much more and all just as interesting as the time before. Love the fabric and love it even more that there is a photo of Elvis wearing a shirt with the same pattern print. So cool. The blue peaking out at the stairs!!!! Oh I wish I had know that when I visited!! I used to think the same thing, wish the mansion was exactly as Elvis left it, even though I never liked when the red was so in. But since I've learned to appreciate all the looks of Graceland and love that they change curtains, furniture out. It's cool to see. Plus it is nice to see Gladys's touch to the home. Can you imagine being able to explore the attic when things were up there?!! OMGosh,, so amazing at the things they have found all around Graceland! Once again, I can't even pick a favorite in this video, because it is all my favorite! You did an amazing job with this video Ashley, but nothing new there!!!

Once again Ashley you are so informative 🌟📖🌟 Funny thing about those 1960's kitchen ads... Both my sister and I share vintage stuff we come across on the internet & YT. And one day she started talking about pull out stove tops so I was like, "I know EXACTLY what you are talking about!" So what ensued was basically a deluge of texts back and forth of links to vintage advertisements of a bunch of 1960's cookware and kitchen appliances 😄 I never knew that Graceland once had its own newspaper/ newsletter! So cool! My favorite is the story about Edmund... That funny little 🎶Hound Dog🎶🐕😊👍 Thank you ever much Ashley for all that you do! Great stuff as always 😃🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 TCB ⚡ & TLC ❤ & peace ✌& blessings 🙏 to you & yours & to one & all here as well 💕

Thank you so much Ashley! It seems I do remember seeing that picture of Lisa Marie on the staircase back in the 1980’s. I visited multiple times in the 1980’s, and then twice this past year! I thought that the picture of Lisa was hanging on the staircase in earlier times. And I love the picture you shared from the foyer, facing the front door. I got one back in November but the tour guide shut the door thinking I wanted the inside of the door, which was very thoughtful of him. But, I so love this one that you shared. Thank you as always for all that you share with us, you are very appreciated. Have a fabulous day!! 😊❤

@@ashleysadventures You’re so very welcome, Ashley. It was just the best visiting back then. The first two times I visited was before Graceland was even open to the public back in 1979. You could only go up to the gravesites. But, my first trip after I got there I found out Vernon was in the hospital. So, nobody was allowed on the grounds. But, Al Strada one of Elvis’s bodyguards let my friend and I set the beautiful flowers we had purchased for his gravesite inside the guardhouse. My friend and I thought that was so cool!! We went back five months later and finally got to walk up to visit the gravesite. So many good memories, I have been a fan since I was very young. Every detail you share on here is just so interesting, I always look forward to your next video. 😊 You enjoy the rest of your weekend as well, and thank you again. ❤️

Another great one Ashley! Which era would you prefer Graceland to be in? I’m torn, while the 60’s era is beautiful and elegant, I also wish it was as Elvis left it in 1977. I also like the way Elvis and Gladys first decorated it. It would be cool if they would have it decorated from different eras from time to time.
