Recently I ventured up to the Glyders for a solo hike with my Toy Poodle Bertie for his first experience of the mountains. After a full year of hiking I discovered i'd got a little complacent with being fully prepared before a hike and found myself lost at the summit and out of my depth (which hasn't happened since my first solo hike in January on Cadair Idris).
I think it's important to share our failures just as much as our successes - how else will we learn and grow? So I hope you take either some entertainment or advice from this video, and i'd love it if you subscribed to see future (and hopefully more successful) adventures.
