As a Turk, we saw almost all of the questions shown in this video in 6th and 7th grade mathematics and even then they seemed easy. Since I am in the 9th grade now and I will be going to Canada as an exchange student next year, I wanted to look at the subjects briefly and as far as I can see, even if I sleep in class, I can easily get 100 in the tests. If you search for Türkiye 9th grade topics on the internet, you will understand what I mean. So my point is don’t underestimate germen math couse somewhere in the world your math is as easy to someone

32:15 isn't the answer for part b supposed to be 4x squared-4x-35?
@focus01002 жыл бұрын
No, because you are only adding the "like terms". Your answer would be correct if you multiplied them using the FOIL method, but in this case you aren't, you are only adding. You are thinking of this (The FOIL Method) (2x+5)(2x-7), whereas the example is simply adding (2x+5)+(2x-7)

Hi so i have a question on a couple you say check your work with the calculator such as 1/5^2 is correct. I dont understand what that means? any help from anyone is welcomed
@andreapolert71805 ай бұрын
If you calculate 1/5^2 the answer is 1/25 as the exponent is only for 5, but if you calculate the entire fraction (1/5)^2 is 1^2/5^2. Both are equal here as 1^2 is 1, but pay attention with other fractions. Andrea from Italy

In the multiple choice, question 3, I’m confused because what I did was, I did, (3)^2 (x^4)^2 but for (x^4)^2, I added them together instead of multiplying because the bracket would typically be substituted for multiplication, would it not?
@notrlyanerd99632 жыл бұрын
You're almost there! Basically, the x^4 is seprate, and the ^2 is set to the bracket. so (x^4)^2 - The law states that we will multipy ^4 * ^2 because acording to the law (x^(any value)^(anyvalue) = the power set to x * the power set to the entire bracket if this was x^4 * x^2, then it would be x^6. Hope I helped!

I multiply those apples by nothing... i'm so confused. where does the 1 come from? the hand that is multiplying the apples has 0 apples, but the other hand still has 87. if I didn't have any apples, but I wanted 87 apples, so I multiplied the empty hand of apples by 87, I would still have an empty hand of apples.
