It's 2019 by now and I still randomly remember and watch this 240p video just because of how awesome it is. I wish I had any skill in shmups or specifically Gradius V to pull this off too

Dude. I just bought it from Gamestop for around $9 bucks. (With my card. $9.99 w/o my card) It is on PS2. You don't need a torrent for this. You can afford to shell out a ten for a game like this. It is truly an amazing game. (And the Konami Code works on it!!)

Apparently that music is from Salamander 2. Track 20 (Fire Tripper), Sega Saturn version. I haven't had any luck finding it though.

When I'm in the right mood, this type of music just sounds great to listen to. I love how Japanese video game music can be so upbeat. Not to mention, Gradius III was always a favorite of mine on the SNES.

Just listened to both and your right. This is definately the remix (prob from the playstation of saturn conversion) and the one I was familiar with first. I think I might have both of them. If I do Ill send it over to u.

I'm just a noob, playing only in very easy, and stopped in Loop 2. But watch out, when I already unlocked Free Play, I will play until Loop 10, i think.... I'm 16 and I play this game via pcsx2

That's an awesome gameplay ^_^. By the way, I'm Making my Gradius VI (6) ideas to send to Konami so you should upload a Gradius VI Master Hard gameplay with Japanese players showing those clips ^_^. And I figured out that you're not playing those high loop gameplays because you're not that far with those high loops XD. I know I'm not, I'm trying to practice on them ,:I.
