A recommendation. When you check the bricks, check the temperature. In my line of work, different temperatures will cause different bricks scores.

U should get cuttings from a dragon fruit collector. Most of the varieties that are available on the market are selected for long shelf life etc and not for flavor. Some varieties that I recommend are equador palora, sugar dragon, delight and Thai yellow

@saadejaaz8672 Thanks. I bought a dragon fruit plant from home depot, but it didn't have a variety name. It's big now but no flowers yet. It's in my greenhouse for the winter.

​@lilycardoso4679 if it's from home depot most likely American Beauty, which is a very nice red fleshed fruit, and the plant is self fertile, it's a good beginner plant.
