In spite of what many believe, the US is the largest producer of crude oil. NONE of the oil in Iraq (many claimed that that was why the US were there during that war) goes to the US. From what I've seen, Slovakia is very beautiful. It also has a history with gorgeous castles and old cities. Mountains, lakes and rivers. Beautiful.

I think a lot of people now assume that the War on Terror was a cover. It was not. Saddam Hussein had the 3rd largest army in the world, had already fought a war against Iran that cost millions of lives, already genocided the Kurds, was threatening literally all of his neighbors and the US and Israel. Iraq used WMDs for over a decade. They did destroy them, but they also refused to allow UN investigators to confirm that fact when an Iraqi defector claimed they were using mobile research sites to develop more. The CIA isn’t infallible and the US government had more reason to believe than not that Saddam was developing those weapons, which would only mean he wanted to start another war in the region.

I think that the biggest difference between the U.S. and most of the world is the "discretionary income." After paying bills and putting money into savings, Americans (compared with the rest of the world) still have more money left over to spend on whatever they want. That's why we spend so much money for entertainment. Every year, I go to quite a few professional football, baseball, basketball and ice hockey games. Our weekends and short holidays are filled with activities, trips, "staycations," etc. In many parts of the world, people just have a difficult time spending money on such things.
@ccchhhrrriiisss100
@ccchhhrrriiisss100 11 ай бұрын
@@ThinGibbons I'm not sure that is true. I've lived ALL OVER the United States. Statistically speaking, the US has the highest quality of living and the highest level of disposable income (and the two are probably correlated). Most Americans have money left over once they've paid their bills -- more than any other nation. Obviously, lower-income families do not (at least compared with other AMERICANS). However, most Americans and American families are not "lower-income." They belong in the middle class or above.

@ccchhhrrriiisss100

@@ThinGibbons The GDP per capita in the United States is $76,399 (in 2023). When adjusted for international metrics (including inflation and equivalency), the U.S. ranks #1. The "quality of life" indices often try to quantify healthcare and healthcare per capita. They claim that nations with versions of "universal" or "socialized" healthcare should have monetary adjustments to boost their "quality of life" on such indices. However, the problem is that the "per capita" claims also includes RESEARCH -- for which the U.S. is #1 by a very, very, very long distance. The U.S. (especially via university research) is largely responsible for the R&D in most pharmaceutical, medical device and medical treatment sectors. Yet, the socialized medical crowd attempt to include those numbers in the amount of health care costs per capita. It's grossly inaccurate. Moreover, such individuals (with poor math skills) often try to insinuate that most Americans do not have health coverage. That's false. The poor have health care available through programs like Medicare, Medicaid and other federal and state programs. Others have access via "Tri-Care." Most Americans actually get their healthcare through their employers. Consequently, they don't contribute very much to their system (except when family members are added for care). In most cases, families have two working parents. This leaves only children needing coverage -- and most are added through their employers. The difference? Systems in the U.K. force citizens to PRE-PAY for their NHS care via heavy out-of-paycheck taxation. Last year, my wife and I paid a total of $360 for health. It essentially was the choice to get even better insurance (for $30/month extra) than what my wife's employer was paying. If we made the equivalent income in the U.K., our health insurance would have cost $15,000. This is part of the reason why the United States has the highest -- by far -- disposable income compared to every nation on Earth. Even though we are taxed via federal and state taxes, we have more money left over at the end of every month (although Biden-era economic inflation and regulation has hurt that bottom line for most). Of course, there are the individuals who are often at the lower end of the economic spectrum who feel that they are worth more than their paychecks. However, the United States rewards individuals for knowledge, skill, education and expertise. I invested a lot of money and time (eight years) to earn my university degrees. Any person can do the same -- especially the poor (where federal and state financial aid is disproportionately advantageous).

Europe does have a lot of history going back 1000 years or more with sites that you can visit. But the United States has a lot of historical buildings and sites dating back 300 years or more. Where I grew up, there used to be an altar that was brought over from France by Father Marquette that dated back to the 1500's. It was sadly lost in a flood in 1973. But there is still a fort standing that was built by the French that dates back to the early 1700's. You can visit battlefields from the American Revolution in 1776, or Gettysburg from the Civil War in 1863. There is a fort in Florida, built by the Spanish that dates back 450 years. If you like historical sites, there is plenty to see in America.

You guys are really sweet. So many compliments for America. There’s obviously a lot of different things to look at. We are very fortunate here. We’re huge. We’re well protected and insanely powerful. We have every landscape (but individually we don’t live in all of them…. We have to travel or move a lot to experience our own country). But it’s nice that it’s domestic travel and the English language works everywhere… mostly. It we have plenty of division and problems, Gun violence, racism, bigotry, brilliance as well as stupidity, etc. You Gus do a lot of food reaction videos. I can say that I believe America is the best food country in the world. We literally have every cuisine from around the world with some much migration from Europe, all Asian countries, Mexico and other Latin countries, Indian, African, and every other cuisine. Out coastal states (Atlantic and Pacific) clearly draw from food from different sides of the planet. In the west we have seafood galore, Asian, Mexican, South American, and bits and pieces from the rest of the world. The east coast draws from Europe, Africa, the Caribbean, and South America… and bits and pieces as well. Plus, our economy and military is dominant. The state of California alone would be the a top 5 country in terms of its economy if it were a country. And it’s just one state. And geographically it has everything… ocean and beaches, redwood tree Forrests (tallest trees in the world), towering mountains and ski resorts, warm deserts, and freezing cold Mt.Shasta summits and so much more. One state. Wow. But, certain levels of crime pollution, drug epidemic, mass shootings, etc. and America has plenty of problems. The increasing wealth gap separation is causing political unrest and tilted/dangerous advantages for the mega wealthy and corrupt politicians (Trump, specifically, who present major dangers to the world). My point is just that sometimes a place can look perfect, but it comes with plenty of gives and takes. I welcome you to become University of Oregon Ducks fans! Football starting late August is going to be awesome, and my alma mater, The Ducks, are set up to have a great season on a national scale in college football. I see an Ohio State hat in your videos. They will be visitors at my college next October and it will be absolutely nuts in Eugene. Preseason has both of our teams top 4 in the entire United States! Let’s Go Ducks!!! Keep up the vids, gang! It’s interesting to see y’all’s perspective of what happens here. Just like that New Zealand family, you’ll be able to make your own visit soon! Should be a tax write off for your business, too!

I’m cracking up. You guys are entertaining. Americans, to be fair, are a little bit of everything. I like to give most people the benefit of the doubt everywhere in the world. Most of my European friends are quite complimentary of those of us Americans that they actually know. But some places can be less friendly than others. One thing my Euro friends tell me is that our TV and cinema taught them English. 😂 We do have Hollywood/LA and NYC. I think our entertainment industry is pretty solid. We’re very lucky in many ways, but we like to share. At least I hope we do.

For the record lol. The Iron Maiden never existed and was invented in Hollywood as a horror movie prop in the early 1900's.

I love it when you guys altogether do a video but I also love it when it's just you, mom, or you and the kids or just the kids or just dad I love any of you doing videos my point is "Please don't ever be worried about any of us getting upset that dads not there because that is never the case!" "We support this whole family all of you and we love watching each one of you separately and together" "We also understand... dad gets sick he has back issues and at least I would never hold that against him because I get it and I'm just happy to see him when I do" "my point is take a deep breath and relax and if you ever get worried about doing anything wrong that we won't like don't... don't even worry about it and just be confident be chill relax and remember.... we are involved in this channel for the long haul and we won't be leaving your guys side whatsoever so you have nothing to worry about we love you and dad and the kids and your yourself and dad and the kids are all doing a fantastic job!.... and... if you ever feel up to it... I fully believe you, mom and the kids could take this further than even just reactions" for instance "if you showed us some of your heritage dishes or if you ever tried your hand at making some American dishes for the family to try or if you did a vlog once a week either way you guys could probably do anything on this channel and I bet all of us would love it!" "now of course you don't have too do anything extra and there is no pressure here I'm just saying" "we love your family so much I bet you could do anything and we'd probably love to watch it all" "so feel confident I know it takes time to warm up to all of this and I can see through each video your getting more relaxed and confident and your also doing just fine as is really your doing just fine" "just know that you have nothing to worry about I promise we won't bite and we'll be nice" "but, if you ever do ever get haters it just means you've become famous enough to have them lol because trolls and haters don't care about people who aren't recognized but if your getting haters it just means your that much more loved by us to the point that you've made a name for yourself and your family and that's a wonderful thing" "so ignore the haters keep on shining and we absolutely love you!"

If you balance out the taxes Europe is way ahead because your taxes pay for your health care and other social programs. Does it make sense to pay lower taxes in the US but have to pay $2500.00 to$4000.00 for an ambulance and even if you get medical insurance…..if you end up in hospital can you afford the $50,000.00 bill after what your insurance paid or be like a lot of Americans sell their homes and cars to pay their medical bills and end up homeless…..give me higher taxes any day. 14:27

Don't know where you get your information. But where I live here in the States. If you live in the county. You do Not get billed for an ambulance. I live right down the street from the EMS station and have had to call for an ambulance several time's over the Year's. And I was Never billed a single dime from them. Because I live in the county the EMS serves As for my insurance it isn't expensive. And I have spent two months in the hospital with COVID pneumonia and the insurance covered the entire cost. Never charged me a single dime. And never raised my rate. So again don't know where you got your information but it is not correct.

@@cjdavis2684 Well pick out any reliable video on American health care and you will see Americans talking about why they woul never call an ambulance in the U.S and how the coasts vary then you can go to any search engine of your choice. I quote from FAIR HEALTH( as one source……..” the average ambulance ride ranges from$940.00 to $1,200.00

I forgot to add it stated the fees may be higher as they are affected by miles travelled, severity of injury, and equipment used. The figures I used originally ( 25,00 to 4,000 ) came from the people interviewed in the video. Also my son and daughter in law live in N. Carolina and while they have the best plan offered, whereas they have friends who do not. So feel to check it out. Where did you say you lived again? The United States of Mars??

The last time I went specifically to Mickey D's (McDonald's) was several years ago--in the summer for an ice cream cone, though I do like Arby's, Chic-fil-A, and Culver's. Correct me if I'm wrong, but back when the Romans were stomping countries all across Europe, and the people were building castles, etc., we had tribes living in biodegradable homes, which they were still doing when we arrives in Massachusetts. Who knows how many Yellowstones and Redwoods were plowed under or burned down in the days of Robin Hood. I mean, our John Muir barely was able to save Yellowstone from miners back in 1872. At the end, he was doing some comparisons, and Germany came up. It's comparable in size to Montana.

Hey Family, here in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia, I paid $8.51AUD per gallon. If I convert AUD to USD it doesn't seem so bad. Australia has high taxes on everything. As for inventions us Aussies do alright, we've invented some cool stuff like, the modern refrigerator, WIFI so without this there would be no roaming around the house on your smart devises. The hills hoist (rotary cloths-line), google maps (sorry for this one), blackbox flight recorder & the Cochlear implant (bionic ear). Keep up the great work, blessings from Brissie Au.
