What's great is that they use the radio to broadcast the music so the music doesn't disturb the neighborhood. Usually has a sign somewhere on the property that says tune into a station to listen to it. Same thing with Christmas lighting. Some people will have their lighting synced to music on the radio. They can even have their own radio station and pick the music.
@JIMBEARRIАй бұрын
They don't "take down" the lights after Halloween. After Thanksgiving, the same computer system runs a program for a Christmas Lights display.
@snowflakehunterАй бұрын
He does change some things out. For example the pumpkins are replaced with singing Christmas trees and the arrangement of where everything is at is altered. Also there are other effects that are added such as an illuminated LED Christmas tree.

I have a large city park across the street from my apartment building. Every year the Zoo in the Park hosts the annual Jack O' Lantern Spectacular with more than 5,000 intricately carved, and lighted pumpkins [some weighing over 500 kg]. It is the largest display in New England and is now being duplicated in other US cities.

Yeah a whole family video. This Halloween lighting is just how Americans practice for the real show at Christmas
@mikebalzano2108Ай бұрын
Yup it’s a fun time of the year starting up where you can drive around to check out all the seasonal lights and to see what neighborhoods have changed their lighting decorations from year to year. If you’re into spending some money on decorating you home then there’s companies that sell decorating packages and also will install them on your home if you want. This business of computerized LED lighting decorations are becoming more and more popular every year. There’s so many to choose between for all different occasions. You can find a lot of different videos on KZbin that people post of their homes. Some spend a lot of money on decorating and some not so much. I love them and the fact that most of them you can just tune in your car radio to a curtain frequency to hear the music as you drive around looking at the neighbors holiday lights is kinda nice . Keep up the entertaining videos guys they help me get through the day smiling.
@ericsnareАй бұрын
There are some really cool light shows like this done around Christmas, as well.
@dylnfstrАй бұрын
The Christmas ones are far more popular. Love driving to one and seeing it an then driving around the really lit up neighborhoods with Christmas music playing in the car.
@timothydixon2545Ай бұрын
There are whole neighborhoods that go all in and especially since Halloween Thanksgiving and Christmas are all right back to back so a lot of the lights that you’re seeing in these videos and the way they do stuff can be set up once and use for all three holidays. They just have to change the decorations in the scheme a little bit.
@wikkedspindlАй бұрын
There are quite a few competitions in the states for decorations. Halloween and Christmas are the biggest ones. But this guy has more vids and the Christmas ones are just as good! Stay safe!

tghe music plays thru the speakers in your car.... you dial your radio to an FM channel and you listen to the song and see the light show usually these are like timed events so like every 15 mins they do a show and then usually stop by 9 or 10pm

There are christmas light shows like this too. One home owner did the star wars music with lights...it was cool.
@gmunden1Ай бұрын
This is common across the US. Homeowners plan a year in advance. After Halloween, the Christmas displays are installed. You can walk from house to house to watch all the decorations. I believe there is a cut-off time for most neighborhoods. The music and light displays have to be turned off by 11pm or midnight. Usually neighbors meet and agree on a schedule to avoid disturbing others households.

They probably leave the light system up for Christmas. They system can cost upwards of 40 grand. What they do is the whole show is plugged into a computer program and it is synced generally to a specific radio station. When people drive up to the house, you are told what station to go to on your car stereo and it will play in your car. You generally see this at Christmas and this is the first time I have seen a Halloween program. Fun for sure!

My sister's neighborhood does this and they have a donation mailbox that you can donate to a certain charity like the local children's hospital or local food pantry. Last year 70 houses participated with this and they raised 12,000 dollars they did it for Halloween and Christmas and gave the money to the local hospital to buy toys for the children who were in the hospital over the holidays. Also bought books and art supplies for the children as well.

The other pumpkins sing with other songs. He made five different songs this year. The music doesn't start until it's triggered by a vehicle with the radio tuned to their channel I believe. At least that's how the ones near me have worked. There's a sign somewhere that says what frequency to turn your radio to, so neighbors don't hear the music. The neighbors will often have their own house set up; some neighborhoods have competitions on who has the best decorated house.
