He abandoned his own child just like his dad abandoned him (and he abandoned his wife and child for some woman he knew for less than a week). He sounds like a narcissist and so does she. What woman in her right mind would have anything to do with a man who is not only married but has a baby? Just ick to both him and Gabby.

Comments of ego on Laird are spot on. Confidence in oneself can reflect an egotism that most people simply judge as an undesirable characteristic, and yet... Confidence is how this man revolutionized a sport before all others, while making changes in his life to bring balance within love of Family. Hats off and soulful smile to accomplishment for Mr & Mrs Hamilton.

Kudos to them for being so honest about their relationship. I disagree with comments here to the effect that Gabby is necessarily smarter than him. Living passionately does not always look intelligent. But living without passion is always foolish, and it's those that live without passion who judge the most. I honestly dont know, but atleast I have enough morals to not leave a new born and wife. Scum is what that is. I have fought my father and nearly every uncle. Play dog linebacker in highschool and lost a two year college scholarship for beer. But dang, if i ever did that to my wife, i hope my brother would beat me sick or just shoot me. I would disown him, and we are close, if he did such a thing.
@le_th_
@le_th_ 4 жыл бұрын
Good god, clearly you're not terribly smart. "Good at stuff"??? Laird is a narcissist: a pathological narcissist. His entire life is about being admired by others, which is the modus operandi of every pathological narcissist like Elon Musk, Steve Jobs, Donald Trump, Kanye West and many more.assholes like them. They live their entire lives driven to achieve just so other people will admire them.... They lack empathy for others (not unlike a psychopath). They're they worlds' walking douchebags who are entirely self-centered. .....and it's all because their parents didn't love and take care of them before the age of 5 that their brain development was negatively impacted and warped their personality and moral compass. We don't "admire" people like this....we feel sorry for them because they have no inner sense of genuine self-worth and they are desperate to cover that up by over-achieving in as a mean to overcompensate for the fact that their parents never loved them. They're entirely selfish and self-serving. There is nothing to admire about being self-serving. What is admirable and respectable is kindness....altruism....true courage to help others (not the drive to win a surfing competition).....and spending one's life being a genuinely decent human being. Of course, you may be a narcissist yourself, which is probably why you believe "being good a stuff" is admirable. LOL That sounds like some pathetic world view a narcissist would have. Let me guess, you didin't have a father growing up?

Laird's Day: 4:00am. Alarm goes off. It's either Lose Yourself by M&M or Eye of the tiger. 4:05am. Starts 3 hour workout that includes walking to Oahu and back underwater. Holding an enormous boulder. 7:30am. Breakfast. Usually steaks cut from champion Barcelona bulls, in an omelette made entirely of egg whites and testosterone. 7:35am. Takes care of business. By being awesome. 10:00am. Mid morning snack ? Does Laird look like a man that "Snacks". I don't think so. 12:00pm Lunch. Laird ate a four pound steak for breakfast. Laird don't need lunch. 5:00pm. Paddles into 50 ft wave outside his house. Shreds. 5:05pm. Attacked by 15 ft white pointer while paddling back in. Punches shark so hard, the whole species is extinct immediately. 5:10pm. Cooks an amazing, healthy dinner using fresh seafood and vegetables from Kauai. 7:00pm. Drinks one bottle of Pinot Noir. 7:01pm. Makes sweet love to his rich, blonde, hot, intelligent wife. 8:01pm. Yea. For an hour. You read that right. 8:02pm. Drinks second bottle of Pinot Noir. Answers social media questions about him being on the spectrum. 8:05.pm Sleep. Repeats. Sad to hear about yur dad doing that Wolfgang. Truly sorry. My earthly Father stuck around and worked his fingers to the bones along my mother and worked through stuff with my mother. How do two people stand at an altar to marry saying they love each other. Start a family. Then bail. Somethings wrong with that. Hamilton should be ashamed of himself to admit he touted infidelity. Adultery. Abandonment because hes enslaved to thinking with his genitals as opposed to staying committed to his vows. How many men and women have done this to each other and have no conscience over those they've hurt and betrayed and the children are hurt the worst. This kind of societal moral breakdown sends self centered messages rippling through those who learn about this stuff and tears the fabric of an otherwise societal need for examples. These two adults need to repent of their wrongs. God forbid. Society will still praise them for their athletic achievements seeing them as good people. Their actions were and are wrong. The need brokenness and humility.

A good dude??? You can NOT be serious? He abandoned a wife....and his own infant....one week after meeting someone, and then moved across the ocean to be with her (keep in mind, he didn't even know her and chose her over his own baby). Is that your bar for "good dude"??? Your subconscious is more intelligent than your conscious brain. Do you know how I know that (and why you don't know that?)? Your subconscious is telling you to get the fuck away from anyone who laughs like that because they're not "safe" or "healthy" people to be around. Your subconscious brain recognizes that this person is a pathological narcissist who is entirely self-abosurbed and also highly deficient in empathy for others and that he is a danger to you and anyone else who isn't a narcissist (except maybe someone more dangerous like a sociopath, psychopath or malignant narcissist, which is a sociopath with narcissistic, sadistic and paranoid traits). PAY ATTENTION TO WHAT YOUR SUBCONSCIOUS BRAIN TELLS YOU because it will save your life even when your conscious brain is being duped. There is a very good reason why you dislike that laughter because it is maniacal laughter by an entirely empathy-deficient human being who you mistaken believe is a "good dude". SPOILER ALERT: decent human being don't abandon their own infant to move across an ocean to move in with a stranger (and you fucking know this already so WTF???) Take the chopstix out of your eyes and start seeing self-absorbed, self-interested people for what they are. I mean, this man actually TELLS YOU that he is selfish. He admits his own selfishness is what drove him to do what he does. LISTEN!!!! and PAY ATTENTION! When people give you the *GIFT* of being honest about who they are....SELFISHNESS....believe them the very first time they tell you and get the hell away. Better yet, when your subconscious brain send your conscious brain a warning....i.e. something is "off" about this person's laughter and the topic they are laughing about is wildly inappropriate.....GET THE FUCK AWAY FROM THEM BEFORE THEY RUIN YOUR LIFE. ....or prepare yourself to learn a very difficult and (possibly) painful lesson. I sincerely hope you do not find yourself a few years down the road wishing you had heeded this advice because if that is the case, it means you have had to learn this the hard way (which is how I learned this, and I do not recommend that path if you can avoid it). Best wishes to you~

She's a narcissist (like most athletes) and lacking in empathy for others as he is. This is a highly self-serving, selfish, unempathic couple who have spent their lives in pursuit of "winning". Narcissists are not worthy of respect or admiration when you dig below the surface and recognize they're pathetic self-absorbed people without an altruistic bone in their body. Beauty and talent and shallow pursuits (and I say that as a female who is very talented and beautiful and still recognizes that means absolutely nothing if I don't also have empathy for others and a healthy degree of altruism and being a human who considers how my actions might impact others). Active people typically have more arduous sensual appetites and the sex is more limber too. The body is ready for sex when you’re in great shape and things run so well your body practically craves it more plus your partner will appreciate it too!

@@sonofhibbs4425 I agree! Gabby and Laird seem to meet that criteria too.

Well, my friend at University thought he was the best but. I think Tow in Surfing is too dangerous. I know, I nearly died paddling out through a 10 or 12 foot swell. Getting towed into big waves is risking death. A wipe out from one of those monsters, could create a lethal hold down. I would not survive a hold down on one of those waves, did he really ride those waves or is he The World's greatest trickster !?
