Cards in this video: 1. American Express Gold Rewards (1:40) 2. American Express Platinum (3:35) 3. Chase Sapphire (8:18) 4. JP Morgan Reserve Card (10:51) 5. Chase Ink Business (Preferred) (12:50) My goto cards: 1. Uber credit card (4% restaurant, 3% air & hotel) 2. Costco Citi VISA (4% in Costco with executive membership) (main household purchases) 3. Chase Freedom (rotating 5%), and Freedom Unlimited (1.5% everything) 4. Best Buy (electronics 5%) 5. Amazon Prime Card (Amazon shopping) 6. *GREAT VIDEO GRAHAM!* *Throwing Shade @ Dave Ramsey* I am pretty new to the credit card points game and what I’ve realized is that it definitely depends a bit on where you organically spend money. Some credit cards are best for travel/dining and others are best for groceries, gas, etc. MY FAVORITE = Chase Sapphire Preferred! *MUST HAVE A BUDGET AND THE BUDGET MUST ALWAYS WIN* Great video Graham! 😎👍🏻

I really like the BofA Cash Rewards card you featured previously. Standard cash return stuff like 3% categories where you get to choose one each month (gas station [including inside the C-store], travel [hotel, flight, taxis, airport parking], dining, home improvement, others), 2% always for grocery stores (I like it because that's where I spend the most), and 1% on everything else. $200 sign on bonus with $1,000 spent in the first three months was easy and worth it too. No annual fee and nothing shady, I've had it for three months now and everything seems kosher. I actually really like the Fico score feature they offer too, which allows me to keep tabs on my credit and see how it fluctuates based on my utilization rates. Yeah, I've been paying that sucker off early before the balance posts to keep my utilization rate low and it's worked wonders! I acknowledge that points and benefits can add up, but it seems too stressful for me to make sure I'm not in the red on any of these due to the annual fee. But I'll take cash rewards all day everyday with no annual fee. That's why I really like the Cash Rewards card I mentioned. Cash is king.

@@LogicalFinance i usually spend 200 a month in groceries. The blue cash everyday has 3% without fee. That means I will be getting just an extra 3% on groceries = $6/month= 72/year - 95 annual fee= -23 a year. I think I rather have blue cash everyday. Even if I include my only 2 streaming services, I'll owe them 7.16/year.

Hey Graham I heard theres a way to car hack brand new exotic cars to drive them for a while and sell at a big profit. The story is they cant sell them for more than MSRP when they're new, so they sell them, then buy them back from the owner shortly after for a small profit and jack the price way up because now its used so they can sell for whatever the market demands, and usually when you buy a brand new exotic you have to preorder and wait a long time, then take delivery, but people are willing to pay more for a used exotic with 1000 miles to get it immediately, so if you buy a ferrari for cash then immediately list it for sale upon delivery at an exotic car auction you can get 25%-50% return on your investment. Might be a good video

I have the Amex Platinum card, but I spend ZERO dollars on it each year, with some exception. I think the $550 annual fee can be earned back with the use of the lounges, the upgrades at Hilton and Marriott hotels, and the airline fee reimbursements (which have become harder to use in the past). That said, I think it’s a horrible card for earning points. One point on everything and 5 points on airfare directly bought from the airline or the Amex portal. Other cards like Chase Sapphire Chase or even Citi Cash card give you better benefits for your actual spend.

Once you have 10 million in assets it seems pointless to worry about credit card rewards

I guess the biggest part I never understand about credit cards is why would you have so many? Sure the signup bonus is great. Then what? use this card for gas.. use this one for food.. use this for x and so on.. Why not just use 1 card for all your expenses? Unless you have a business. Then one for business, one for personal expenses. Seems like you'd get points much faster by only using 1 card for everything...

@@Flooozeee No the benefits outweighs the annual fee because he gets free food, travel, accessories, gadgets, etc. If you don't use the card it's a waste of money. You have to weigh the benefits vs. the annual fee to know your exact return. In reality he doesn't pay anything in annual fees due to his usage.
