Graig Ddu- Views from the Grouse Butts

An off piste / non pathed walked up Graig Ddu, a 503m hill in the Black Mountains region of the Brecon Beacons. A new hill summit for me and amazing views from the Grouse Butts into the whole length of the Vale of Ewyas.

Good one. Creepy house with grave stones outside. 😁 Good views there. The weather's been pretty poor so far this year. Makes it harder to go out. Nice it cleared up for you and the rain stopped before the end.👍

Yeah it’s been really bad for us hill and mountain walkers. It’s depressing when it’s just days on end of heavy rain .. itching to go out. Let’s hope it settles soon! Thanks for watching

That was a goodun Adam - straight up no messing. Of course the path as river helped. Yeah, some great views down the Vale of Ewyas (it's pronounced youwis). It's gotta be one of the finest valleys in South Wales. Well, I enjoyed that - have a great week ahead. Mark
