@richardt17923 жыл бұрын
If you want to shoot film panorama without breaking the bank, there are some decent point and shoot cameras that offer a panoramic mode. I've taken them to the Sierras and have gotten some pretty decent shots that I would have with my 35mm of medium format cameras.

@@jonaslinter I’ve thought about getting a medium format camera that has 135 film backs or can be adapted to fit 135

@@ReimannPembroke Pretty much any medium format camera can be adapted. You either need to have the necessary adapter 3d printed, or you just need to buy them. They are available in some regions. There are plenty of videos on KZbin explaining the process.

14:43 I think this mindset could be why color negative films like Pro 400H are disappearing while B&W is still thriving. In the words of Timothy Roper: "There's a reason that Acros was resurrected and 400H was discontinued, and while many, many people will disagree, I think it's because: color film has a lot less to offer than B&W film vs. digital. Mostly because not only are there many different B&W film stocks, but there are many B&W developers and ways to use them. Color is more "industrialized," with few options other than the standard machines for developing (but I know, there are home kits, which I have used). Most people shooting film today are doing so for creative/artistic reasons, and B&W still offers a lot of creative freedom, and will continue to do so. Color, not so much." (Taken from the comments section of a James Madison article about the discontinuation of Pro 400H)

How do you store your 35mm film? The way I store mine, is when I buy a new pack, I unbox it and wrap the cans in paper (inside the plastic can), and label it according to it's brand and ISO. And ant exposed film, I grab a paper strip, write some information on the strip on what I shot, and put it around the can, and then wrap it in paper and store it in the fridge until I get ready to develop it.
