Thank you for explaining us the differences between habitual and future Conditionals. It would be great and very helpful if you could make a video on Mixed Conditionals.

Thank you, Andrew. It's always a pleasure to attend your English classes! Awesome class! Especially for clarifying about for the Native Speakers English, it's usually common to give short answers.

Habitual conditional in the past is ambiguous with second conditional. Please explain the difference. If he was angry he would always shout.

I respect teachers that not only posses the knowledge but know how to transfer it. Great job. I have one question, please. Why are you using future continuos instead of simple in the sentence where you give an answer to the invitation for a party ...I wont be coming to the party
@mapleleafesl61627 жыл бұрын
Hi Sabahudin Cergic, thanks for the great question. There are basically two answers to this. First, it can generally be more polite to use the future continuous over the simple present. So for instance, 'I won't be attending the meeting" is a more polite response than "I won't attend the meeting". Second, when talking about an event that will be in progress in the future, it is common to use the future continuous. Again, as an example: "I'll be working this weekend" or "I won't be coming to the picnic tomorrow" would both be appropriate responses. Thanks for checking out the video and I hope my responses have helped.

Sir but it is raining is not simple present.I think it is present continuous.I am confused here.......
@mapleleafesl61628 жыл бұрын
Karan, you're right. 'It is raining' is present continuous. However, we could still use this in the same grammar structure to explain a habit. Therefore, it would still mean 'when it is raining/when it rains, I usually take an umbrella'.

Great class as usual, but I have a word. You're using the present continuous on the If clause. As it's raining. Is it normal? Or can I say? If it rains, I will bring my umbrella. I usually bring my umbrella to school If it rains.
