Grammarly Premium: Is It Worth It?

I started with the free version of Grammarly, but I upgraded when I started taking my writing more seriously. My daughter is a freelance writer and she told me I should try it. It has helped me improve my writing skills and I'm feeling more confident about the work I'm putting out. I like the extras that come with Premium but the free account is great, too.

Is it slowing things down for you? I’m trying to figure out what slowing everything down and I think it’s recent Grammarly changes. I’m on iOS and Apple.

I have Grammarly installed on iOS and MacOS and have no issues with it. Maybe try deleting and reinstalling it, and make sure your OS updates are installed, too. They just released new ones for everything yesterday.

Grammarly helps you become a better plagiarist. If kids received a better education, they wouldn't be tempted to use grammarly or AI to write their term papers and to write other assignments for them. We are rapidly becoming a nation of dummies. Recently I read an article where veteran school teachers in Revere MA who hold a Master's Degree would go from $145,382 per year to $170,382 per year under the City School Board's recent bargaining proposal. (That's before very generous healthcare benefits, pensions, and other overpriced benefits, putting them well over $200,000 per year for a damn teacher's job. Really?) Swallow that fact when it comes to light that the Mass Teacher's Association is trying to do away with the MCAS testing (Mass Comprehensive Assessment System) because students are performing so poorly. Now all of a sudden these uniform assessment tests don't measure everything that they should, even though they used to. Wake up folks.............. Our education system is failing us, and the public sector's solution is to pay more and more for less and less, meanwhile letting our streets and roads and other public infrastructure rot into oblivion.
