They really need to sort out the problem of "you get pushed off and then you get the big penalty". Getting knocked off, then getting a penalty, damage and losing places... really sucks.

PD need to change the penalty system for sure. I don't understand how someone can push you off on a straight and not get no penalty for forcing you off the track

@@andrewcruikshank4975 Not sure the difficulty on that, probably some writing where if A hits B, and B goes of the track (Parameter setting) then they get a 30 sec penalty. This is why we would start a league with like-minded folks on (Forza before GT7) We need to start another. I believe we had a total of about 42 members, divided between Eastcoast and UK and the WestCoast area.

I wish Polyphony listened. There is a really really easy way to wipe dirty drivers from the whole game for good. All they need to do is to do a 10 second mandatory vote of who was the dirty driver and people vote (similar to COD). And at that time they ban him for 1 hour for the first time, 1 day second time and 3rd time just suspend them for a full year. Problem solved

I know this is a year later but interesting idea. As long as there is a “none” option in case it was a fairly clean race and don’t wanna punish someone who lost grip once on accident. I get that they can’t manually review every time someone would report someone if they had that system but with your voting idea maybe they could have some mods review someone if more than 1/3 of the lobby says they’re dirty etc. I’m kinda surprised they don’t have a system that aggregates everyone’s telemetry and driving line and looks for drivers that are consistently outliers. Chances are if you’re turning hard on a straight or not braking in a braking zone you’re a dirty driver.

Im a very new driver on gt7 and ive been experiencing a decent amount of these drivers. Since im so new i default to backing off and letting people go by rather then fight it out but still get purposefully spun. I feel like im doing the right thing but im getting discouraged. Any advice?

Thing is have PD ever banned anyone in the past? GTSPORT had the ability to report players but was anything ever done about it. I find the dirty driving is the worse part of the game. I can't even see anywhere you can report in gt7. There's always someone everyday who deliberately tries to take out other drivers...win by any means is their moto....which for me is a pretty hollow victory

What i hate about GT7, first you have players with a controller, they are all over the circuit and unpredictable. They should be in a category specially for controllers. Second the bombdivers should be banned. I started a few days ago to play online and i already hate it.

You're gonna get that when you start out new with DR E/SR B lobbies, unless you come in with your better rating from GT Sport. It gets vastly better mid B and up. Best advice in lower lobbies is to qualify 1st, hope you don't get rammed on T1 and dissappear and win, which is quite easy.

You don’t have to win to progress to clean racing. Just stay out of trouble, don’t retaliate, finish last but clean, and your lobbies will get clean, then you can progress in DR. Losing is not bad, collisions ARE bad. Just finish clean and you WILL progress, dirty drivers will be left behind winning trash lobbies and never getting anywhere in life. C/S and B/S lobbies are generally very clean in my experience. A/S is clean & difficult. Anything less than SR:S in a DR:B lobby is a warning sign. If this is you, the problem is you. If you are not SR:S at ANY DR, you are the risky driver even if you’re not aggressive. Get your SR to S before trying to win. Also: NEVER rage-quit a race. Quitting mid-race will very effectively keep you in trash lobbies. Always finish the race clean at the back before quitting. This is the way.

These people are the reason I'll only do the daily races that either are on tracks I really enjoy, how many laps, and which car type being used. So I basically only do the cup races and I find that this kind of stuff doesn't really happen and the races are relatively clean. They need to find a way to separate these people into their own lobbies so they can have fun playing bumper cars instead of racing.

P.s. SR is a frigging joke last race I did I got rear ended off the track. I got penalized 1.5 sec and at end of race my Sr went down slightly and the person who hit me his went up.

Polyphony needs to fix the penalties for victims of punting. This happened in my last 3 races. Once, I got spun so hard, I got two exceeding track penalties for 3 seconds and also had engine revs limited. All these guys have MAGA, or Dale Earnhardt names.

instead of constantly getting upset, reporting bad drivers but nothing happens, it's easier for me to just stop racing online altogether -- I'm spending my hard-earned cash on ps+ to be able to race online with you guys and have (clean) fun... no problem, it's easier for me to just sit back n watch. in the meanwhile, I can work and progress my racing(driving practice) by racing offline when gt7 does the challenges (kinda like passive racing, not real live in the moment, in real-time racing) which is not like racing at all- no slipstreaming into a turn etc. l can try to beat the times of my friends in time-trials & circuit experiences. saving my cash and not getting super upset (because I'm an older man with high blood pressure) well then its easier for me to just sit back n watch... no divebombs or punters to worry about. since this is your means of income maybe you can stand the pain, I can't. seeing how the 22 GTWS Finals were decided, no thanks. lnostrosa but especially Miyazono, the look on his face hurt me, l understand his pain. l just try to find peace and pleasure in just driving by myself (and against Ai) l love cars and racing (20 years mechanic) Thanks and keep up the good Videos, I'll be right here watching, learning and pulling for your wins bro... 02jan2023.dellthecomputer
