Gran Turismo's AI not being able to drive high performance vehicles, especially RWDs, has been a thing since at least GT3. Kind of funny to see it finally become a gameplay issue instead of just a funny crash after you win the race and the AI takes control.

I feel like since the update on classic/retro cars the suspension is janky/ unstable which makes it undriveable or unstable, even if a lot of tuning

The Corvette C3 just needs brakes changing from racing brakes to normal or sport brakes to fix the PP

Well I have cars that are detuned but with engine swap, full weight on, no aero on sports tires still same error lol. My fix for that are either poor tires or poor brakes😅

​@fossilfueled27 Funny enough the corvettes have this problem 😂 C1 and the C2. The C1 have engine swap and the C2 have stock engine. I'll see if I can make more but like I said and part of what you said, Tires lower than SS or stock brake disc brings the PP back. Good job you are doing BTW. Thanks for reaching out.

"Absolutely disgusting" Jesus Christ chill, they know about the issue and it only needs 5 seconds of tweaks with aero or other settings to fix. Forza Motorsport does have direct player ticket, no? Yet, their Ferrari 458 (if I remember correctly) still has a bugged Wing that has been there since Horizon 5. If you do not like the game just turn off your PS5 and go do something else instead of being dramatic for the sake of it.

It is annoying but is it so unrealistic? A real world Corvette C1-C3 with 1000+ HP would indeed be undrivable unless you rebuild it on a level of something like the Hoonicorn Mustang and beyond the parts you can apply in the tuning shop. While it is plausible that you can get some aero for most modern performance cars and they are much more capable platforms in terms of suspension and rigidity, a LT-swapped old-gen Corvette is a massive custom project.

Doesn't mean we shouldn't be allowed to use them. Plus, all classic cars have the option for modern suspension, modern brakes, chassis strengthening and modern tyres not to mention everything else.

@fossilfueled27 What is "modern suspension", though? On these 70s cars, it would be solid rear axle to independent rear suspension conversion, not just bolt-on. I see why these cars are s**t to drive with huge power, but yeah, you should be able to, even if with a PP penalty...
