@@DoodRacingyeah its nice for newer players and experienced players alike to get an understanding from an experienced player as to how different cars of similar styles within a manufacturer differ and drive. so if you like a particular car but find it hard to get the tune correct your advice on its strengths and weaknesses can be reassuring and you can maybe try a different car thats similar and its all within the same video. great stuff.

I have a setup for the RUF RGT and I gotta say it is definitely better than all the 911’s. Has the most power out of them all and the amazing cornering stability of the 996

Yeah I’ve driven it too it’s a beast for sure. I would say the 2016 and 2022 GT3 still turn better but the extra power of the RGT more than makes up for that.

@@DoodRacing Agreed. They do turn better but I find the RGT is more stable when cornering. Sometimes I feel the 16 and 22 are very twitchy and unpredictable during corners. Especially the 16

@alecbekian yeah it’s tough to get the Aero balance right on them. They tend do oversteer on entry and then understeer hard on exit. The 2022 is a big pain because you can adjust the downforce

You can always get the Gt7 tuning calculator on the net, not all settings suit everyone, Good does some good tunes but some I just font gel with, so I use the calculator

Wow really enjoyed this video as a Porsche enthusiast. I just started playing GT7 and have been enjoying it so much but i'm having trouble finding reliable tunes. Would you happen to have a Tune for the 650pp Porsche Cup? I'm currently using the 911 gt3 (997) '09 with a wide body kit.

For 650pp I would likely go for a sports soft or racing hard build if the rules allow for it. You’ll want to run maximum rear downforce and somewhere between 50-70 front downforce. This may cause the car understeer, but for pp racing this allows you to run more horsepower within the 650pp limitation. If there is a horsepower limit you can apply softer tires. Generally for 700 or lower PP builds, running stock brakes also frees up some performance points for things like more horsepower or less weight. As for the suspension and differential setup, the one I put in this video for the 800pp version of the car should work well! Though you could raise the front roll bar if the car struggles to turn. Transmission setup really just depends on the track. But the stock motor on the 997 GT3 has lots of mid range power so the gears shouldn’t be too difficult. Hopefully this helps :)

I'm having some difficulty with this RSR setup, it feels slow and a bit difficult while cornering, i don't know if it's me that isn't getting used to the setup. I'm used to use that older setup of yours, it feels amazing

If the old setup feels better for you than continue using it for sure, though this one should quite a bit faster. On the new setup you can try removing a bit of front downforce or lowering your rear natural freequncy :)

I’m working on a video now that has a couple 700builds in it. For these Porsches at 700, I would recommend putting the stock brakes back on. Removing most of the front downforce and then slowly bleed horsepower until you get it down to 700pp, though you will probably need to counteract the understeer these builds would have by adding more rear ride height.
