The VR it's self feels really good, I just wish they had or will put VR time trial with leader boards into the PSVR modes to bring that healthy sporting spirit out more; possibly even online 1v1 with adjustable number of laps. As fantastic as simply getting into these cars in VR is I feel the game-play aspect could be far enhanced with very little work and I'm let down that they did not explore what I think is simple an obvious ways to make the game far more attractive to PSVR owners?

Wish they never changed it. Have played this a few months back at a Sony event in Amsterdam and instead of driving 1vs1. You drive against a grid of AI cars between 10-16 and was amazing

I have the VR with the steering wheel and pedals and does make the game a lot more interesting and fun, but I also noticed the resolution of the game wasn't very good using VR.

I got sick the first time I tried DriveClub so sick i returned the game but then I bought a wheel and started playing Dirt Rally VR and didn't get sick at all so I bought Driveclub again and with the Wheel... no motion sickness. Played 3 hours straight of Driveclub today with no issues.

It's amazing that good force feedback adds that extra real world immersion to driving games, so much so that can counteract a portion of motion sickness.

The VR in GT Sport is way better than Drive Club, there is no doubt about that, it's just a shame there is no actual competitive/sport like element to the VR mode, if it had that via time trial, online lap time tables and maybe online 1v1 it would add so much to the VR mode.

POTIS1 the lack of a wheel isn't a cause of motion sickness. Having a wheel can help reduce or eliminate motion sickness with driving games; because you've got an extra tactile sense of feeling in the world so your body and your brain feels like it actually knows what's going on here, instead of my eyes are seeing something your body is not feeling anything so your brain can go hey there's something wrong here and that's where the motion sickness comes from. So there chance of being less motion sick when you have a good force feedback wheel as what you're seeing and what your body feels is more synchronised so your brain is being given a more complete simulation of what driving in the real world feels like.

I know for sure that Asetto Corrso had VR and NonVR in online multiplayer I have the oculus rift and it works fine with other players who don't have vr so it's possible for Sony to support VR in full game I'm single player and online multiplayer for Gran Turismo 7

I know the demo of Drive Club VR, I got motion sickens after 1 second. Today I tested GT Sport in VR and it feels great. I hope we will get more cars and tracks in VR.

I have been wondering the same thing, DriveClubVR should be renamed BARF CLUB VR, seems to be a lot of reports with that game and being sick. Mostly good reviews for VR on Gran Turismo. I dont know what they did different but it seems to have worked.

A normal Ps4 the VR is blurry but if you use a Ps4 Pro it's twice as clear. PS4 Pro is recommended for VR.

This vr on the PS4 was both fantastic at times but also poor quality. The blury grainy texture was a huge issue for me and this was one of the few games where you had a good vr experience but it was very limited. You could only go up against one car. I sold all the VR stuff because as blow away as I was when I first tried it the PS4 wasn't powerful enough to deliver decent frames per second, clear visuals and gameplay. This results is making you feel dizzy. Well it did me and the others who tried it. VR is awesome but I think it has to be high end PC to deliver that. I have never tried the rift etc so I can't confirm that but J do know the PS4 wasn't that great. Dont listen to the teenage fanboys. Try before you buy is my advice.

What games did you try, entry level vr will lack fidelity for sure, psvr does have 120hz frame rate, it is held back by the even by ps4 pro somewhat but still acceptable

Try the Logitech G29. It's a good entry level wheel in my opinion. I like it better than the Thrustmaster t300 that I had. Opinions vary of course.

ZWGamemasterGame I like the pedal set with the g29 much better. I also like the feel of the g29. It's a slightly smaller wheel and I like the leather wrap..The belt driven t300 was smoother and offered more feedback but I honestly like the feel of the g29 better. Just personal opinion. My t300 also stopped working right after my 1 year warranty expired and Thrustmaster offered me no support. Just told me the wheel was unfixable. But thats irrelevant to my preference of gor the g29. My first wheel was the dfgt so that may also be a big reason why I prefer the g29.

This was a good vr title. Not as blury as others but it was a typical Sony lie. They said full grid racing but you race against one AI opponent. You can't even do ghost laps to race against. It's empty racing.

Just bought a PSVR (version 1) to play Gran Turismo, Can someone tell my why the graphics seem so crappy when I play but seem awesome here. Is it only the broadcast that upgrades the quality, but when actively playing it is really low res?

PSVR uses 2 screens, one for each eye in the headset, so effectively it halves the resolution for both screens. The social screen you are watching being broadcast uses the full resolution because it is only using one screen. That’s why you can never get the full sense of VR on the social screen.

Nope, so far as I know. You can only have 1 rival for some reason. Probably because of CPU power or something on the PS4 consoles to keep a smooth experience without vomiting.

Honestly i bought this game and i don't understand how come you cannot get inside the car in showroom mode which is what i was hoping for. Approching a car was great but the inability to open the door and sit inside was very dissapointing. The other fact is, this is not the best thing for VR as a racing will have you watch in front of the display mostly all the time! I wanted to drive my car into a relaxing state from time to time so i can delight in the car interiour, the drive going around other slower car, evading speed ticket, and so on... This game should cost 20$ not 70$.
