Great video. I've used this as a reference for my WJ over the last 24 hours. It's coming out great!

Hey awesome job 💪 Go ZJ.. LOVE THE VIDEO, wanted to let you know a little holes in the back side of the fender on the unibody are weep holes for the windshield wiper cowl, go there to let water out when it rains, without them the wiper cowl in front of the windshield will fill up with water

Safety goggle tip to prevent fogging, take hat off. I discovered that hats hold the heat down and push it right into your glasses.

Did you cut the pinch weld or how did you handle that when you came to that point if you had to?

Dude, get some earplugs, or else you'll be hearing that angle grinder for the rest of your life.

Always nice to see what others are doing as far as mods go and how they approach it. Thanks for taking the time to document it. I am wondering why you wouldn't just roll them out to a flare though. Seems like you could have.

Rick Havok I would have liked to but with the removal of material it’s a bit different.

To stop fogging on glass, smear shaving cream on the inside of the glasses, let it sit a couple minutes, and wipe it off. Use old school cream, not gel. Should work for ya.

Incase anyone's watching this in the future. Rub cheap shaving cream on inside of lenses to prevent fogging. From some one who's spent many hours in texas attics with safety glasses

What did you do to protect the door hinges? I have the same issue with my ZJ and I live in Alaska currently so the snow and gravel mix gets mixed up in there..

What YEAR ZJ? Nice job and thoughtful approach. Just a thought? WHY not cut all of the lip up to top, then relief cut and fold and seamseal and undercoat? You know you'll want to go bigger tires, yet again like most other rock crawler Zjs. What size tires now 33s? A year from now or sooner....youll be back in those fenders cutting more as you put 2 inch spacers on top of those springs. Lol, just saying....it will happen, probably sooner, fhan later...why not do it all now?
@RockCrawlinJeeps3 жыл бұрын
It was done in stages. They are now fully cut and on 39s. It was on 35s when this was filmed
