I find pressing down on the bumper with my knee while tugging on the lamp helps get it out.

Gotta send this to my buddy, He recently inherited his uncle's Crown Vic 2004, it is a nice car and we have bee doing the maintenance.. already had to replace the intake manifold because the heater nipple busted on it.. seems like there are a few problems to be expected with these. What is your advice on the things to look out for when picking one of these up?

Grown Vic headlights won’t work unless you change the entire header. There should be a link in the description for the headlights I have.

I don’t believe so! If your headlights bolt in they will work but there was only a year or two the mounted them this way and I think it was 03-04.

My 01 Grand Marquis has the slide holders like the crown Vics have for the headlights.

Short answer...no! Long answer, they will if you swap out the entire header panel, grille and headlights and possibly bumper. This is the one area on these cars that have significant enough differences, that won't allow this swap easily.

I’m guessing not as they were specifically labeled as 03-04. I’m pretty sure 05 and newer mount with the slider type clips rather than being bolted in like mine.
