I live in Czech Republic and i am from Slovakia.. Yes A3 are already on sale here. With 20 percent tax and folding stock (we dont need to have braces) its around 1600 dollars with aluminium stock. The normal polymer stock one is around 1300 dollars. There is no pistol version currently that i can find without a stock but i am pretty sure that will change and they will come to US as pistols. Maybe usefull informations for someone.

@@someguy9097 you wouldnt like them probably xD - every firearm with projectile above 16J requires a license - license requires physician signing off that you are capable of handling firearms, squeaky clean criminal record (double MISDEMEANOR within last 3 years and you are out for example) - license requires police conducted test that comprises of the written part of a gun law (including things like export regulations and other "filler" that normal guy wont ever need to know) and practical test in two parts - first testing safe handling, basic takedown and malfunction clearance procedures on handgun, 22LR long gun and break open shotgun (any mistake here is instant fail) followed by shooting at the target - 4 out of 5 rounds on pistol target with a handgun at 10m range for "sporting", "collector" and "self defense" class, at 15m for "professional" class (armed security and such) and "hunting license" requires shots with 22LR and a shotgun at 25m range. Again, any failure to adherence to firearms safety (including for example not dropping magazine while clearing malfunction) means instant failure. - if you pass (when i took it only 3 out of 11 applicants did) you can apply for a license - police has 30 days to do a THOROUGH background check on you (may include questioning your neighbors, at your work etc) - any reputation for violence, substance abuse etc may lead to license being denied. If they do NOT find any reason not to we are "shall issue" so far - after you get issued license you have to ask for "buy permission" to actually buy a firearm from the police, if you get one "usually takes a day at my precinct" you can buy anything your license allows you to. Then you have to register the gun and get a "license" for that specific piece (balistics and CIP testing are done on all firearms on our market before they get to the retailers and our law requires CIP numbers on all main parts - frame, slide and barrel - and they all require separate registrations if they dont match - ie no "mail delivery" of barrels or slides, they are considered theyr own firearm, and require the same process as buying whole new gun) - our law also absolutely prohibits use of suppressors (that is on table of being changed though), incendiary (including tracer), armor piercing or explosive ammo and any ammo with "increased wounding profile" is prohibited in self defense (hollowpoints are legal for hunting only and cops do carry them) - on the other hand there is ZERO restriction on barrel length or stocks (so far, EU is trying to cripple that part of our laws among other things) and so far zero restrictions on magazine capacity. Fully automatics and any modifications to achieve or simulate select fire modes are of course prohibited (no bumpstocks, dual triggers and other american "we can bypass the laws" inventions - one press of the trigger = one round out of the barrel, anything else and you are in trouble and no they really do not allow any technicalities like "gun presses itself against the trigger" ...) - the holders of "for protection of health, life and property" license can conceal carry any firearm (if you can conceal that .50 cal go ahead xD) they legally own and registered and cannot be prohibited from doing so legally (your employer can still fire you though - you arent breaking laws but you might be breaking the internal regulations of the company) except on airports, courthouses and military instalations (ie you can carry at work, school, any business etc ... aside of those examples i mentioned - which are all guarded by armed security - there are no "gun free zones" in Czech republic. - oh and buying ammo requires license too, no mail ordering that either...

@@benrogers5058 dont know i actually think our laws provide me better "right to defend myself" than yours do ... - noone (sofar...) limits how many rounds i can have in my magazine - no private entity can bar me from carrying concealed on theyr property (one exception i dint mention is "large public events" unless you have permission from organizer - no carrying on concerts, sports events and such) - can can go shopping or sudents above age of 21 (age restriction for the license) can carry on campuses etc ... - i have no limitations on barrel lengths or stocks - our law defines guns as "long" or "short" and its determined at overall length - anything above 60cm length is "long" but it really doesnt matter because its just classification that doesnt actually affect anything id say our laws are far and beyond anything people in California or NewYork have ... while also preventing legal arms to be used in criminal activities ... you know like the problem US has in Chicago for example. our license procedure takes effort, knowledge and squeaky clean criminal record ... i personally prefer this to any yahoo getting theyr hands on firearm they cant even handle safely ...

MAC, you continuously amaze me with how much you care about your viewers and the information that you provide the public about potential firearms purchases. I’m a LE Firearms instructor in central Washington State, and we got a large batch of Winchester white box 115 gr 9mm training ammo in last year. We had a crap load of bad rounds where the primer was hit like you showed, and the round failed to fire. Good for our guys to work through the malfunctions, but frustrating as all hell. I'm glad to hear that are working with you on this. I own a Grand Power X-Calibur and it is a tack driver. Smooth as silk function. I have the Stribog on my acquisition list. Your issues did not worry me as the majority seem to run flawlessly. However, one never knows till you know, if yours will be the one with issue and how the company will address those issues once they arise. Once again Tim, your issues only help the industry. Both, us end users and the producers... to get all the possible kinks worked out.

They just started shipping the single rod design very recently, and if you check out an Arfcom thread, more and more people are reporting problems. Grand Power said the single rod design is for +P+ ammo! They are sending reduced power springs to the importer to resolve the issue.

I will have a 3rd gun in a week I'm told and it will be a current production gun. I will run the same battery of tests through it. But yes, with the absence of the rod in this non-roller delayed version the potential for spent cases to get back there will exist. Sometime in 2020 I suspect we'll see the gen 3 roller delayed gun and the head of the bolt likely fills this void which is why they removed the rod.

In case of Stribog it only happened in the US (not sure, but I think that's how it is). In Europe I think that Stribog was being sold in A1 (AR15 grip, aluminium lower, AR15 selector lever style, reciproacting handle, no integrated sights, straight BB) A2 (polymer lower with grip, new selector lever, reciproacting handle, integrated sights, straight BB) and A3 (lower/grip/selector A2, intergrated sights, non-reciprocationg handle, roller-deleyed action). In US they mix parts to bring A3 features in A1 (no idea why).

The A3 is supposed to allow for the use of AR style grips. The trigger system is supposed ar compatible and changeable to non enclosed trigger parts like Geiselle. Maybe you should check that out.

@@tengu190 well not sure how it is in Poland but in the Czech Republic you can get MP5 clone from POF for CZK 30k (1300 dollars) whereas the A3 costs depending on the setup like barell length and lower type between 29k up to 40k... (1255 up to 1730 dollars) so it depends on what you want... :) Not sure what the difference is between them in terms of behavior when shooting

I noticed with the "bad mag" at about the 18:00 mark, the ejection was also quite erratic. I wonder if the gun relies on spring pressure from the magazine to aid ejection? When you used the failed magazine + oil at the end, the ejection was fine.
