I got the same setup. Lingle with A3 rdb. You might want to try the KDGunwerx 3 stage damper. Made my setup very reliable.

A lot more companies starting to use scorpion mags like the market has done with glock mags. I’m a big fan of the scorpion mags, especially with magpul support.

I’ve heard from a guy in Sarasota Florida that supposedly worked at global ordinance that supposedly maybe possibly a new curved mag is being made for the stribog by grand power. Don’t know if it’s true but I hope so

It's been rumored for a while... I talked to them well over a year ago and they said they were considering a curved mag and the Global Ord. guy thanked me for the "oil trick" because we were at a shooting event and the gun was failing. They put oil in the straight mags as I mentioned in a video and the gun resumed function. While that sounds great, you shouldn't have to lubricate your polymer mags to keep the gun running 100%. So GO is aware of the mag issues.

I have both the stock lower, with the curved and metal lip mags, not a problem unless I use 115 CCI. 124 not a problem, loves 147 Hornaday HP. But not Sig 147 HP. I do like the CZ mags for the Lingle No problems except for the Sig HP's

I continue to recommend the A1 over the A3. The Lingle unit gives you an aluminum lower, which some prefer, and it allows you to move away from the straight, proprietary magazines that come from Grand Power. This allows you to tap into the growing market of CZ compatible magazines, which improve reliability because they have a curve which is contoured consistently with the 9mm cartridge.

Grand power just released curved mags. OEM, Im holding one right now, cant wait to see if it works. All plastic design (I know...), rounds look like they are more “comfortable” in there with the curved mag.

I think your issue was due to the A3 stribog being a delayed blowback and that's probably not letting the bolt go far enough to reset. Just a thought..

I'm thinking the roller delay on the A3 is softening up the bolt movement causing the trigger to not reset. Brute blowback has no problems pushing that hammer back.

So I put a Lingle arms aluminum scorpion lower on my stribog a couple years ago it's great I love it! My question bouncing around my little brain power ever since then though is, what if any different uppers can I put on my stock complete stribog lower now? Can I make some kinda pieced together frankengun type of thing or is their some other manufacturer or other model that'll work? Of course I know there are other stribog upper options like the rifle length version or what not but that's not what I mean, can you put say like some sort of other pcc 9mm upper on it or build a new upper like I would do with an extra ar lower I'd eventually build it out into some other full rifle or pistol, so long babbling question short...is my original stribog lower doomed to be a paperweight forever or only marry another stribog upper or can it become anything it can picture itself being?

I was thinking about one of these lowers but honestly I haven't had a single malfunction of the gun (A1 2nd gen.) or problems with my Stribog mags. The only thing that I did do was the Mcarbo Stribog spring kit. Best $15.00 spent on it. So all in all, thanks Eric for saving me a bit of cash and making my mind up on not getting the new lower.

yup. they've worked some issues out. the oem mags are still a little suspect but have gotten better. you should look into getting an hbi buffer spacer. helps with reliability and reduces the recoil a bit.

The only reason I would buy the Lingle lower is magazine compatibility with a scorpion. Also scorpion mags are less than $20. Sometimes $14 when you catch them on sale.

Sold my sp9a3 to buy mp5 parts kit. When I opened my stribog case for the first time and inserted an unloaded mag and pulled the bolt back to lock it back, the follower immediately broke and would not hold the bolt back. Dropped mag and did the same with another mag. Same thing happened. So only one mag out if the 3 factory mags didnt break the first time it was used. I figure id rather have the more expensive proven gun with a massive aftermarket, then the cheaper new gun that wont work. I just finished the mp5 and it runs great.

Tried the Lingle aluminum on my a1, didn’t like it at all, it like to work with the suppressor on it. 95% of the time. But without suppressor like every 3-6 round would get a fte, or brass stuck in chamber. Really wanted the scorpion mags for it. But my bog has run 100% of the time with standard and steel tipped stribog mags. I may try a a3 tact, But I am good with regular stribog mags for now. Most important thing is that the gun works and is reliable.

I'm having an identical problem with my Lingle stribog. Did you happen to see if the trigger hammer was too wide? It causes drag on the bolt.

@@paul7from7ukr I got a drop in trigger from it, very nice trigger sold from Lingle. Ended up keeping the trigger, send the lower back. Running original lower on it. I just use 25 rounds in the mags and it runs 100% of the time. Also just got the new curved mags for stribog original lower. Sold on gunzone deals. Haven’t run them yet, but the way the ammo lines up in them is perfect. A3 tactical is still working on a new lower for stribog. Supposed to be coming out next month. That Lingle lower...I just don’t know. I even got a different bolt spring for it, still didn’t help. Like I said above though, it worked well til suppressor on it, but as soon as suppressor came off. Like 4-5 rounds would get failure to eject. I would recommend putting old lower back on, get some of these curved mags at gunzone. Worse thing you can have with a gun is one that is not reliable.

I remember a LGS had a micro before the pandemic for like 600-700$. He said he only had 6 in stock and was already holding 4 for local military guys that shop there often. I was supposed to come back and get it but didn’t get to for whatever reason. Went back and it was OOS. Bought a PSA AR9 for like 600 out the door instead. Now everytime I shoot the AR9 I just think about that micro 🥲
