Thanks for posting this! Grand Prix was awesome. Make-Up was one of the first few Japanese bands I became familiar with...way back in 1984. They instantly became one of my favorites, and I was pretty disappointed when they broke up. One correction on the description. Grand Prix is actually post-Make-Up, starting a few years after Make-Up's final full album as Make-Up (so, not counting some of the "Saint Seiya" anime-related stuff). I was pretty happy about the new band...and then a few years later the broke up as well. Fortunately, Make-Up and Grand Prix each released four great albums, and Yamada Nobuo is still actively performing and recording, so that's good. Make-Up even started to get back together around 2009, I believe, but, unfortunately, the guitarist, Matsuzawa Hiroaki (who composed the music for "Pegasus Fantasy" and other "Saint Seiya" tunes), passed away in 2010 from heart problems. I loved his guitar work. An almost Schenker-esque feel at times.

グランプリ、とにかく楽曲がいい。あと山田君のボーカル。これだけ唄上手くて、声質がいいシンガーこの頃いなかった。俺たち、80年代組はメタル世代だからね。マリノ。ラジャス。アクション。ノヴェラ。バウワウ。エックスレイ。魔女卵。アースシェーカー。ブリザード、‥など当然、ラウドネスかあり。海外なではアイアンメイデンが魔力の刻印。日本ではみんな、尾崎豊。地域によっては、ブラックキャッツとかね。皆、クリームソーダの財布にベルト。アメリカではボンジョビ、ナイトレンジャー、ラット、本番英国ではジューダスプリースト、大人気。そこにオジー‼️マイケルシェんカー、確かに、良曲、作曲しても埋もれたバント多いよね。日本でも横関敦のブロンクスとかさ、まだまだいいバンドいたけど。生き残りの大変な時代だったんじゃないかな。53才になるけど、いまだに、グランプリ、朝からバンバン聞いてるからね‼️大谷零文のマリノとか、あと柴田さんのANTHEMもバンバンですね❗山田君は流石に、マリーズブラッドと最近コラボしたりいまだに、頑張ってるよね。アニメで大部、救われたよね😅ほとんど当時のレコードで聴いてるからね、朝からプレイヤーに針を落とす瞬間が至福の時。

Yeah that would be awesome! I have this entire show digital quality, it's a kick ass show. Also some interview, and a really high quality S-VHS master copy of the video for 'Show Me The Way'. I need some of the other Grand Prix music videos though, if you have any of them high quality (MPEG-2) I'd be happy to do a trade.
