Enjoy the dry humour every time. Love this watch -- except -- it's a bit chunky at 12.5mm thick and looks top heavy. Never worn one though so maybe the lightness of titanium helps it balance?

Agree, there is no top heaviness. The reason people complain about its lightness is because this truly does 'disappear' on the wrist, and not just in the metaphorically way people talk about heavy stainless steel watches that are comfortable to wear. People who can't separate quality and weight end up disliking this watch.

All those nice exquisite pieces don't work on my tiny ass 6 inches wrist. I am missing those GS, Omega, TagHeuer and the rest. Might be good for the wallet but bad for the soul. Basically I am forced to shop ladies 36mm watchs and my testosterone ego-meter is getting a hit.

I think this is very wearable pretty and arguably more interesting looking, more colour tension, then the expectedly white version. I don't afford myself 6300usd costing time pieces, but if I did, this might be a contended. I do wish it was a few mm smaller though. I'm sure at 38mm it would have been every but as good and even more desirable to wear often. Also, the grey tone of Ti is just gorgeous on pink. Grey and pink is a bit of a classic, especially if subtly applied.

I own a Grand Seiko super SARB. The smooth sweep of the second hand is mesmerizing for this nerd. That said, there is no reason to have a power reserve indicator on the dial. Move that junk to the back and ensure that every Spring Drive has an exhibition case back.

Great video. Thank you! I also had a Snowflake and was really tempted to this one. But I sold mine also due to the fact that I never really got the size right. Too big or too small. I even bought another half link - but no chance, it never felt right. GS bracelet bashing became kind of a reflex in the watch community. I congratulate everyone who has no issue with this and can enjoy the watch. But Grand Seiko, why not even 3 micro adjustments? We know you can, look at the Astrons.

The half links are really 2/3 links and you should be able to get a similar fit to a bracelet with the standard micro-adjustments. You just need to use try different combinations of 2/3 links and half links.

Power reserve indicator bothers me because it is reversed from the normal design language. I would have thought the bottom left was low and the top right was fully charged. As a designer I’m not sure I could get past this.
